How to find severance package?

Can someone help pointing me in the right direction to find out where to get severance package info? Thank You

It is under Information about you on the employee home page.It is under employment policies.It basically states the following.

Salaried or asst mgrs with more then 3 years get 2 weeks pay for every year worked up to 32 weeks maximum.

Less the 3 years gets 4 weeks pay.

Hourly employees

Less the 3 years get 2 weeks pay

More then 3 years gets 1 week play for each year up to 16 weeks of pay

If your DM and SM are doing their jobs right you will never see it because they will force you out well before it's offered.

If you are vested you keep all of it. Anything less than six you will get a percentage of what the company put in.

Actually, the company changed the vesting of profit sharing to where everyone is 100% vested from the get go. This went into effect in March.

Good info on finding severance package info. As a mgt looking to jump ship. I wouldn't qualify for severance package. They'd never offer severance to thousands and thousands of mgts given our current situation. What would it take for the average mgt looking to get out to receive this benefit.

They just reduced the severance package by half... Check store net.

Somehow not surprised. Wonder if they will have anything left to pay out all the claims being filed against them.

Long gone... Thank god! Leaving Walgreens was easily one of the best things I did in 2012!

New policy, if they offer you a position at another store when your store closes, you don't get severance or 60 days notice. We had 48 hours notice. Today was my last day.
