Promise them anything, then send their jobs away, part them out to Europe, Japan, Turkey, China.

The profits will sore, our Allies will love us, and who cares about a couple of thousand Manufacturing workers?
Not the teamsters, look at the parking lot full of imported cars!

"... The strike three years ago, the first at Sikorsky in Connecticut in 43 years, followed a dispute over health care costs and workers' rising contributions to pay for health insurance.

The strike ended when union members narrowly approved a contract accepting terms similar to what they had earlier rejected."

So what exactly did the 2006 Sikorsky strike accomplish?
Absolutely nothing

Well, let's see. We lost major money that can never be made up, I lost my house and oh yeah, Rocco Callo had his face in the papers every day. We also paid way more for medical and lost respect from the community by not crossing the line. Was it worth it, hell no! Will I vote for the contract tomorrow, definitely yes. Oh and by the way Rocco when you tell union members not to talk to the press you do stifle our Constitutional rights, is it because you don't want us to reveal what we went through last time under your leadership?

Did you know that the teamsters built the pyramids? It was originally designed as a cube. Each shift did a little less till the last said "Throw a rock on top and lets call it a day"

Answer: Union leaders wallets got fatter while workers walked in circles sweating it out until the strike blew over, thus experiencing a no-win situation.

Last strike accomplished nothing. Ratify this contract and forget about how the Union screwed you guys for six weeks in 2006. Money that you will never make up or get back. Even in the best of times a company could never offer a contract with better terms that ever could be recovered once you are on strike for more than a few days.

I worked for a union for many years. Don't be fooled by the lies they tell. They do not care about the worker. All they care about is the dues.. Unions were once strong with leaders who cared about the members. The United States shod outlaw unions, they are a scam. Plain and simple. They screw the employee more than the Emoyer does

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Capricorn

Don't take any risks when handling your finances today, because there are strange things going on. Someone may not be as straightforward and honest as usual, or can't explain themselves properly, which leads to misunderstandings and false assumptions. If you're spending money, make sure you're charged the right price and given the correct change. And don't let your wallet or purse out of your sight, in case you mislay it or someone nabs it.
