OMG! Call your representatives! Have them pass a windfall profit tax! Better yet, have them pass a law that requires oil companies to give us the gas for free! Make China & India reduce their demand for oil!

And, how the greedy multi-conglomerates keep alternative energy tech and/or FREE energy-producing patent saving devices from the public/consumer. Just Regurgitating ! Why didn't US govt solve the problem ahead of time instead instead going to war, did they know about the geopolitcal contentions for petro... Greed! The USA gov't, multi-conglomerates, ruling elitish... denied the facts about war-for-profit enterprises for resources.... We the lowly populace have to deal with the world ruling elitish evil agendas like war-for-profit enterprises... Instead USA could have all this time develop our alternative energy infrastructer since the 60s' like clean coal tech that u mentioned , develope technologies like waste, solar,wind, water... to run our infrastructer. Let me ask you do you remember year ago December 2006 in crude at low USD $60/barrel and as of Dec. 2007 crude range low USD $ 90 and still raising ,What 40-50%- HIWAY ROBBERY! As of year first quarter 2008 , the crude is at low 100s and still going going going... When will it stop. I smell rat!---> Its Greed! Lets introduced "Close the Enron Loop Hole Act! Its about time we lowly populace do something ! Who makes all this Big Profit, after operation cost,deductions, taxes ...the priviledged few, multi-conglomerates, gov't, OPEC,Hedge funders, hi-class speculators ... are ones to be blamed for raising petro prices and other commodities... kept us in dark fopr to long, it about time...! They made 100s of billion of dollars bottom line, soon, taking away our shirt, no more of our lowly livihood !
Know they already developed the CLEAN COAL TECHNOLOGY (Main Source) VS all other Alternative Energy saving Tech and consumer saving energy patents; which the ruling elitish want to shut us out of free energy/saving devices. As to Oil exploration it is getting HARDER to FIND and More EXPENSIVE as we drill deeper, Equipment Cost ...aint economically feasible anymore. And, lets not forget problemetic geopolitical contention that America have deal with.
With Coal is most abundant source on planet earth, so you can take Peak Oil theory through into garbage with rest .
If we do runout of Oil... Conglomerates are already secretly gearing up to put Clean Coal Tech into place if world do run out of oil.

Clean Coal Tech will be our next main energy staple for USA, into near future as R/D already find ways...
As to Clean Coal Technology is already feasible for the long term as big conglomerate is working on.( Names i can not disclos.) They pass R/D (40 years) with patent and have build running plant with clean coal efficiency of 97 -99% emmission standard as compare to NG, meaning clean as NG. We have enough about 75 - 80% USA land mass is cover with Coal underground, as we have plenty. Venture capitalist is investing in it also.(Sorry, dont have time, Do your own research)

OPEC is right to suck as much money from the American people as he can and increase the price of crude oil to $120 and even $200. OPEC is right to tell US to drill its own oil in ANWR Alaska and in US continent and US waters.
Clearly, OPEC is right to tell the American people that they need to use their own American source of gas, coal, and oil shale and nuclear power facilities to create their fuel for their cars.
OPEC is right to keep their own resources for themselves and send only small amount of crude oil or even send no crude oil to US and to suggest that US start to use its own energy resources that since 1995 were put under embargo under the reckless Bill Clinton veto to appease the left wing liberal psychos.
It is time that the American people to stand up to corrupt politicians and demand from their incompetent politicians, House Representatives and Senators to allow the use of oil from ANWR and other American energy sources, which were put under embargo by the corrupt Clintons, and the corrupt liberal politicians.
It is time for OPEC to stop sending oil to US and to demand that US will produce its own energy from its own resources.

Either drill for oil on our own territory...or actually use the armed forces of our own country to secure the oil for our own citizens. Those are the two logical choices.
