Lack of responsible stewardship: Letters for Dec. 29

In 2,000 years seems like the message hasn't gotten too far...at least not in terms of changing human behaviour.

Why? Because it is a complete fantasy. A minority of the world believes that tripe, yet that same minority who call themselves Christians are so arrogant as to believe the rest of the world has to obey the dogmas of some fictional god they created out of thin air, and the completely unbelievable fable of this god's birth. Maybe instead it is time for these Christians to disavow their fantasies and start learning to deal with hard realities of an ambiguous world.
