Ya,'we dpn't need no stinkin Unions' let the bosses have all the profits. Let them make all the rules on safety and wages and your benifits. You don't need any benifits. Just show up everyday on time, shut up, take whatever THEY want to give you and bend over when ever they tell you to. You arn't worth anything. Your just a slug and a lazy one at that. Keep your mouth shut. If you see something is unsafe don't stick your neck out and say anything until someone is killed or injured. The CEO could care less if you go home to your family uninjured and with a good wage so you can take care of YOUR family. Make sure HE has all the profit and all the benifits and the golden parachute and make sure his Family has the funds for a
good education for his children. He deservess it, he's the smart one. Your just a dummy that wants a job so you can eat.
Get rid of those stinkin Union bosses, they're all croked you know. You heard about it on the Rush Limbaugh show. He knows more than U do so he must be telling the truth.
United/Continental employees are sure a lot better off WITH a UNION than without one. If you can't figure it out just keep working for those low wages and be happy your boss has full pockets. MUst be one of those 'Teabaggers'. But I'll bet your one of those reasrend kissing brownnosed ah's we had to put up with in management
Union proud for 40years and now retired with a good union pension and benifits. Had great Union wages and great Union bosses. If your to stupid to figure it out join those poor 'Right to work for less' Hillbillies down south. They'll take any dumbass that comes along Ya All.

ramprat,

You must be the last of the breed that actually got up each day and went to work with a positive attitude that I'm going to be the best employee that ever worked for this company. Goof off and avoid hard work, not me! That's for those other clowns that hide behind their union bosses and archaic work rules. Did you ever notice that they always carried their little books in the shirt top pocket with the union rules. Whenever in doubt if they should or should not do a task that obviously needed to be done they looked it up like little school children that were unable to think for themselves.

Come on now, fess up, don't live in denial or be ignorant. You can't blame management for everything that is wrong with a company. I'm sure you knew where the hideouts were when it was time to get even and we'll show them whose the boss!

you bet,

Funny thing I noticed, none of you union guys ever defend or deny my comments regarding the goofing off, sleeping on the job, or feather-bedding union rules. I guess if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it's a duck!

Regarding your comment that we will always settle for less because we are smarter than anyone else. The real and obvious reason is that we are smarter to realize that every product and job have a market value. When it's overpriced then there is a tendency to not purchase it or in the labor market, not pay outrageous salaries for very little productivity. Essentially the reason why some of the major airlines shutdown or went bankrupt to realign their cost structure, primarily wages. It's simple economics 101, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out this equation. No doubt you consider price and quality when you make your personal purchases. So do the majority of the people, especially the smart ones.

I see you are advocating for Americans to have work and wage rules similar to China. I bet you were non union and didn't do your job, from what your describing. You had to be standing around all day watching the union people not doing theirs.

You have the eintire New York stock exchange list, but can't come up with single example of yopur stpid stement. Do you still believe your original foolish statement?

And you are still avoiding the issue. Why are you unable to give a single valid example? Come on give us a single example from all the thousands of US corps that qualifies. Better stick with ex. nwa when no one will disagreeor unless they have already kicked you out for being a desertor?

Don't have to stalk you, when you are always posting idiot statements on this forum. Why don't you give us an example of your claim of American corps owned by the execs or BOD. Or better yet how about naming a single month where Southwest beat Northwest in loadfactor between 1999 and 2007. Should be easy for you as you have a chice of many months. You did say Southest "regularly beats NW in load facton. Is there room in your mouth for another foot? Bettter yet why don't you stick to ex.nwa where no one can disagree?

Funny thing, The union doesn't do the hiring. And the company always has its new hire probation period to sort this out. I guess if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then it's a duck.

Well, you all just voted for an end to your current employer. Unions are the gateway to the end. Along with that muslim facist socialist that you IDIOTs elected to the white house of this once great country. Perry and Bachman in 2012! God Bless.

I work for a non union company.(worked union most my life)
I see no difference in the above statement between union and non union. I see worse actually because everybody (except me-old school) on their cell phones constantly. It doesn't matter if they are in the middle of a job or taking a dump....they are constantly answering someone, surfing the web or playing games. If I owned the place or managed it I'd ban them!

Precisely the right attitude. I agree with you 100%. The only difference, non-union could be fired on the spot. Union, won't happen. Guess who's running the show?

The union doesn't do the hiring, but you better follow their rules and productivity limitations or the retaliation will be begin. Slashed tires, welding the tool chests shut and other childish behavior.

Come on now, this is nothing new. Don't insult us that know what really takes place. The days of runaway profitability are over. Time to get real or you can join your buddies at Eastern who stood their ground and wouldn't budge an inch.
