Right on! I pay exorbitant fees, wait for days when they dont show up for service, and get treated like a second class citizen, When can we have some honest competition for cable service in a city like LA?

Oh Thank Goodness! Time Warner called Santa Monica 'Frankenstein' because they couldn't deal with the problems here. At 7 every evening cable would go black + white...sound was out of sync with the action...impossible to watch. I called a local TV station to tell them + they took care of Time Warner for me.
The worst were those commercials with the guy calling every few minutes + getting right through to service...made me laugh - made me cry...amazed they weren't nailed for false advertising. It's bad enough that we have no choices for landline phone service other than Verizon -+ now forced to deal with Time Warner has been a very low blow to consumer rights. Now go get them!

Time Warner is the worst for customer service and they have not honored the last judgement against them. I say sue, so customers can recover some benefit for all the waiting time spent on the phone with no resolution.

I was overcharged. I complained and was told to take it or leave it. I going through being temporariyly blind so, I was focussed on getting my eye sight restored (which I did). Then, I approached TWC for a second time to no avail. Before TWC took over, my bill was about $100.00 after the conversion my bill increased to $180.00 for the same services. They say, I owe $600.00+, I say $300.00+. I switched to DirectTv and TWC is not interested in negotiating the balance. When are they going to learn there's more sherrifs in town. I'm happy with DirectTv. They'll be waiting for that $600.00 for a very long time. KMA TWC

Finally! This is one of the most irritating and non customer service business.I have pages of documentation that shows how this company was rude, unavailable, inept in service and repair, and refused to assist a customer whose service was completely down. Lies, deceit, and poor business practice had me jumping at AT&T when they came knocking with the new high speed services. Thanks, LA City Attorneys for going after these crooks!

We signed up for TW home phone service. What a disaster!
And when we tried to go back to the phone company for phone service TW would not give us our number back. We had that number for 26 years at two different houses and now it is lost.
I hope the City Attorney wins this one!

Time Warner has the WORST customer service out of any major company that I have ever experienced! They continue to increase their charges with no additional services. They brag about being the home of free HD but they sure to charge a pretty penny for wireless internet!!! I signed up for this new fiber optic service called Uverse from AT&T a few months ago and it is night and day compared to TWC. A much better bargain and I'm getting something like 45 HD channels, I got 3 free HD receivers and free wireless networking! I'm paying $120 for 3 rooms with HD and DVR and movie channels plus phone and wireless internet. Picture is way sharper and all of the added features on the DVR like being able to set it to record from my cell from are awesome. I love my Uverse!

Here is a pot calling the kettle black, remember here is someone who has done insurance fraud with his wife. Stating that he was driving in an accident that his wife was actually driving and with NO license. Come on, what are you thinking. What if anything ever happened there! It is amazing how role figures in our City offices just have things swept under the table. Well just to let you know that some of us do not forget. So for him to talk about fraud is ironic don't you think?

Why stop at the fines? Sue to have the consumers reimbursed for the high prices and inferior service. That's what happens when large media corporations are allowed to continue to buy up the competition.
