Make sense, Real Clear Politics does have a match up between Ron Paul and President Obama as of 12/18:

President Obama - 48.2

Ron Paul - 40.5

RCP Average - President Obama -+ 7.7

In my opinion, should Ron Paul get the nod, he would be the only one out of the field of current Republicans that could possibly get me to change my vote from President Obama.
