Toll Brothers Swings to 1Q Loss

Toll may not only be suffering from the general mortgage meltdown, but it may be starting to see the effects of the burgeoning bad reputation it is getting from unhappy buyers. Our experience has been very bad, and it is now impossible for me to recommend Toll homes to any of my friends. The idea of 'luxury' is far-removed from the cheap finishes and sloppy craftmanship that one gets in Toll homes. As one realtor said (and I wished we had listened), Toll advertises a Lexus, but what you actually get is a Mazda, for the price of a Lexus.

I think even a Mazda would be a stretch, more like a Yugo.

In some communities in Florida you do not even get any light fixtures in the house other than the can lights. They do not tell you this until you move in.

Turn on the light switch and nothing happens, That is TRoll Brothers calls Luxury. HAHA

I think a bike with a flat tire would be better then a toll brothers home, at least it would be repairable or replacable at an affordable rate.

Not given them your money and getting nothing for it, but a toxic mold enviroment. And having to pay off the mortgage and then rebuild it.

It is a sin. With all that money you think that the food banks would be filled to feed the hungry.

Everytime I go food shopping I take a couple of tags to feed the hungry in the neighbor hood. And I'm in store at least every other day,lol see I help with the economy, everyday, lol

And even this year with carry the cost of both homes and all other expenses I sill made sure the children that were on the towns holiday list had a Christmas.

I can not see not given to someone who is need.

to much energy wasted on doing the wrong thing and trying to remember lies, a waste of life, and that is something that can not be replaced. Life is to short and beautiful to waste on bs, and idiots, or people who think they are better then the next, because of their bank accounts, or name.

Even as a child I never liked bully's and never had the patience for idiots, I have a friend since we were teenagers and one day I said I have not tolerance for these idiots, the reply was and you never did. We have been friends for many moons, many century's, I telling my age now.

Lets get serious now, if toll brothers stops laying off people so he makes more money for himself, maybe the economy would not be slowing down. Maybe if they hire some workers they would actually beable to complete some property's and then there employee's could help the economy by spending there hard earn money on the basic needs, and maybe a little something extra.

so since they are reading all of our post maybe they will get a thought. Hire some people and stop worrying about the slowing economy, since he does not believe there actually is one, or one coming why are they laying off people for the last two years
