because it serves them right. hiring people 23 yrs ago and promising a fair retirement after 25 yrs of hard work, just to pull the rug out from under them right when they reach it. karma is a bitch and what once appeared to be a good moral company is now reaping what they are sowing.

i wish toyota would just shut the doors and go back to japan then the prices of things would go back to being reasonable suck as property, taxes ect.

I noticed that Kelly Services had a big ad in today's Herald Leader hiring for temp positions at TMMK. Does that mean they are getting ready to hire a bunch of temps at the Georgetown plant? I'm waiting to hear back from them to get hired on as a temp. I've passed all the test and had my physical back in September. Does anyone know if they are getting ready to hire again? Thanks!

no one that works there really knows man. they dont tell the employees anything about who/when they are hiring. sorry and good luck to u

I work at the Indiana plant. Their far from perfect but they've been good to me and my family. I make 3 times the money I made at my last job. I watch those vans pass down that line with stickers on them that say the % of parts that come from the USA. I can't think off hand what % does but I know it's most of the van. Their more of a American company than most American companies.
