GM to Retake No. 1 Spot From Toyota

Without China, GM would go bankrupt. Again! lol

The No. 1 title, a morale booster for the winner's employees and managers, would cap GM's remarkable comeback from bankruptcy.

The Republican House isn't going to settle well for this bit of good news for American productivity. It's been a slow battle but the American Manufacturing has once again prevailed...... despite the obstruction and assult from the Republicans in congress.

GM will surpass Toyota because of a Japanese earthquake? If I ran GM, this would embarrass me. GM had the world by its tail and lost it because of arrogance stupidity and corruption. And now, it's going to bellow to the world about beating out Toyota because Toyota is suffering the aftermath of an earthquake?

With this same old attitude, GM will be in the tank again soon enough. Notice how its stock price has fallen below $30 from an IPO of $38?

GM's future will be its sad history.

The IPO was 33.90 not 38, and the stock price today is $30.95....

If you have to lie about your position, maybe you position isn't worth defending?

So what's your point? GM was bailed out for being "too big to fail" and it will now get billions in tax breaks.

It's funny how Government Motors is re-taking the top spot after it's owner, the Obama Regime, started recalling Toyota's for non-existent safety issues. The Japanese are not used to dealing directly with street thugs like the Obama Regime. They actually thought that the current leadership in the US had some credibility. They thought wrong.

American car companies fail because of corruption, arrogance and poor leadership. Japanese car companies succeed because of good leadership.

Wasn't it Bush and Paulson's ideal to broaden TARP to include the Automobile Industry and provided GM and Chrysler combined bridge loans of 17 Billion in Dec 2008, before Obama was sworn in as President?

One thing you're forgetting. GM is making a profit under this Administration, and were bankrupted under the Bush Administration.

As a matter of fact the nation was bankrupted under the Bush Administration and it's not until the last year in 10 years there's been any positive job growth.

Case being the loss of Millions of Manufacturing Jobs in America during the Bush Presidency that have no relations to the Automobile industry.

The Bush leadership with a Republican congress lead American into this pit fire of hell and a strangling by debt of more than $6.6 Trillion in additional debt.

When you consider that from George Washington to George Bush the National Debt was all of $5.8 Trillion and Bush racked up an additional $6.6 Trillion suggest that the Bush Leadership was a complete failure for America but a winfall for China and Saudi Arabia.
