Toyota has settled the first Sudden Unintended Acceleration lawsuit for 10 million dollars. The killings took place in San Diego and served as one of the triggers that led to millions of recalled vehicles. Toyota wanted to keep the amount sealed but the judge said no way.

Stop it,

I distinctly remember you saying this would not happen. Care to pass the buck?

Didn't say that JJFADS.
Once again, you choose to interpret things your way.
All I ever said was "wait until the suit is decided" before blowing your horn..
You ignored it then, and you ignore it now.
The only problem is your horn is way off key!
Try again.

Stop the sarcasm! Engage please-
What part of this suit is not settled? This is an absolute settled suit and it ended in a ten million dollar reward. I understand why Toyota wanted this settlement sealed. Now other attorneys know what Toyota will pay. What really is relevant is that Toyota cannot make this story go away.

So now JJ claims I'm "sarcastic"?

Response to that as follows:..."It is impossible to see a particular characteristic in someone else unless we ourselves possess that same characteristic".

The sarcasm is warranted. Completely!
You youself frequently use sarcasm, so if you can't handle it coming back, you have no reason nor justification to complain when it comes to you.

For the record:.......
I did not, and am not now challenging the fact that there's a settlement---as you're getting all uppity about herein!
I simply corrected your previous claim that I had stated there "will be no settlement" in other discussions.
I did not say that during those nor any other discussions on this issue.
I previously said in rebuttal to your earlier inferences about it being a done deal that "the deal wasn't done yet".
During those previous discussions, the decision had not been made by the trial Judge.
You're accusations are, as usual, wrong, and your remarks are, as usual, unwarranted.

I think you are a little sarcastic too. Why do you not like Toyota so much? I think there are many of these cars on the roadways.

Re my sarcasm--I only give back in kind and don't ever initiate.

Re not liking Toyota--I do not dislike any specific automaker, nor do I prefer one over another.
The only issue I have herein is the constant singling out of only one automaker as a villain.

It makes me wonder if Toyota is going to lose all of the suits and if so will each guilty verdict result in a minumum of ten million.

You should be more thoughtful and considerate. Toyota made some mistakes but you should not condem them or the remaining family members.

I have never said, nor did I dispute that the suit wasn't settled.
Therefor it isn't possible for me to answer your question.
Do you have me confused with someone else?
After all, you do tend to drift off into semantics from time to time!

Post number four. Stop being so mean. Can you not just participate w/o being this way? Try to be fair please.

Post Nmber Four is truthful, factual and a fair ndepiction of your conduct JJ.
That said, when you can convince me that you are fair and open minded, I can assure you I will continue to be the same.
It's a safe bet that you cannot.

Treat others with respect, and you will be treated the same way.
If you so profess to have an open mind---not singling out just one automaker would be a good start.
So far there's been very little indication of that alleged "open mind"---unless you have another definition of what is meant by "open mind"!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
