From the surface Stillwater Mine may appear to have all it's ducks in a row but having the prespective that I have from the inside it is one of the most mismanaged and disfunctional operations .....I guess my trouble is I worked for Homestake Lead operation where the bar was elevated to a high level.. Hope Greg R Struble is given the tools necesary to turn it around

There's an interesting discussion at Google Answers about the (apparently) disappearing role of the COO in the corporate world:

Chief Operating Officers and Company Presidents

Could the COO be an endangered species???

I worked with Greg during his recent time at Cortez with Barrick. He is a top notch guy. Stillwater has made an excellent decision in appointing him as COO. He will be missed by his many friends at Cortez.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
