Supervalu shareholders approve 'say on pay'

"Against the board's wishes"... Really? I wonder why since it's obvious the execs are far more important to the survival of the company than the people who produce the food or put it on the shelves... Millions of years of evolution and FINALLY we have heros like those with MBAs to save us all.

I'm in an MBA program, not to 'save us all' but to gain a better understanding of how to effectively run a department or company.
I think people should be paid what they are worth. High-paid and over-paid aren't the same thing. There are people flipping burgers that are over-paid, and CEO's who are underpaid.

CEO make millions and the President of the USA, the world's most powerful country, he makes $400K a year. NO CEO is worth a million dollars. It's kind of like saying my "boob" is insured for $1million.
