station casinos new call center

wonder about guests reaction to this endeavor

Are you referring to Station Casinos terminating an entire department and sending the work to Guatemala or the their original endeavor at centralizing all reservations/pbx?

I'm interested to see how long people will put up with companies outsourcing jobs to other countries. Especially when the casinos in question are all about "locals".

Doesn't set well with me. Will cut up my Stations card and send it to them & outsource my money to another casino!

The HR Department and its VP are the ones to blame. Always looking for savings...

Its all about the bucks, lay off 40 people for cash savings to pay Exec bonus. I'll be spending my hard earned cash at a local casino that actually employes locals!

the company is dead BROKE has no money to pay their bills... they have borrowed ALL the money they can get their hands on and are burning through it faster than your $100bills burn through their machines... They will be bankrupt for sure real soon and its no longer a rumor its a fact more expenses than income equals BK.. The GREEEED finally cought up to them and if you think the brothers and major investors want to lose more money than they already have keep dreaming as the ONLY way to increase their cash flow is NOT going to come from increased sales and it WILL come soon from more cut backs job losses but the next time these cuts are going to start being major major and sad but true but they will be sending many many team members OUT the door real soon like starting NOW this month 5/2009... good luck to all team members these owners greed is going to hurt.

more layoffs from stations casinos coming soon,they just laid people off from Sunset,Red Rock and Green Valley Rach.When Kevin Kelly holds a meeting people start to loose their jobs!!!!7/25/09

iit's terrible for the people that work for stations. if boyd gameing takes over it will be just as bad because they come in a fire the employees that are working for stations and put in their own people. I remember in july of 2007 they
liminated jobs to their internal maintance dept
these people were told they could have the things
they had since 2006 but they needed to eliminate positions so this is how they did it. they posted
on the billboard that the casino would slow down in june and july and in some cases peoples hours
would be cut so what a better way to do that. it was sad to watch all those people who worked there
tails off to open redrock. One man died because of
what they did because he couldn't understand what was going on he was only doing what he was told by all their supervisors and the assistant GM. This destroyed many lives. I don't wish harm on anybody
but greed will get you in the end. even in our banks. our presidents not making proper changes
las vegas relys to much on casinos we need more
small business loans so people can be put to work.

don't feel bad all the porter, kitchen workers,cleaning houskeeping, construction jobs, fast food establishments are being taking over by ???????

What's the deal now with the Stations call center? They abandonded Guatamala after they abandonded the Teleservices employees, and now, I think, they just send the calls to Vegas.com ? That sounds pretty expensive.

Station Casinos LOVES LOCALS...It's their Team Members that they HATE!!
