The term "dictator" is comparable to (but not synonymous with) the ancient concept of a tyrant. A wide variety of leaders coming to power in a number of different kinds of regimes, such as military juntas, single-party states and civilian governments under personal rule, have been described as dictators.

Sorry Lamar, you just lost my vote. You prove that you have not one original thought of your own and that you are nothing more than a lap dog for the W. Bush administration.

If he loses your vote for that reason then he probably never had it in the first place. I am a supporter of W, do I agree with everything he says or does? NO. Will I ever agree with everything a politician says or does? NO.As a whole W has been good for this country, the economy is good and the unemployment rate is low. Go W!!

Your statement might have been somewhat applicable before the last election, when the Democrats took both the House and Senate. We're hardly under a single party rule.

Odd, however, how the Democrats had no such reservations when the Congress and the White House were under Democrat control...

Brian it may be good in Atlanta but here in Republican East Tennessee W is at the lower end of the scale, and is as low as whale scum.

Associating with Bush is more likely to hurt him than help him, politically speaking. Which is a shame, really, because he really is one of the more moderate politicians around right now, and that's always a good thing.
