That's because they (mexicans) are illegals, murderers, theives, rapists, drug addicts and peddlers. Most don't even know how to speak English, read or write.

How can you include all Mexicans in this category?
Educate yourself! As simple as that "Slowman". Every race of people has thier "bad group of people" that hurt society. But there is also those that are good people and have nothing to do with crime. You should be ashamed of yourself for having such a racist and mean thoughts towards people you don't know anything about! Dont base your opinions on what you hear in the media. If that were the case are we "Anglos" all Meth addicts?

I agree with Ms.Nobis from the Chamber of Commerce thanks to President Obama's leadership and Millions of Dollars in Federal Stimulus Money San Juan County and Farmington have grown and diversified without depending on just the Natural Gas Industry. The same industry that so disastrously flopped this Winter and caused Millions of Dollars in Damage and Human Suffering.

Isn't a newspaper supposed to only present news to the public and let us make our own opinion? since when is a newspaper supposed to be biased and cause racism? Would it of been that hard for the Daily Times to include a hispanic population? And for the ignorant people talking about illegals educate yourselves. NOT every mexican/hispanic/or latino person living amongst you is illegal. And for the ones that are, they are probly doing nothing wrong to you personally so WHAT IS THE BIG DEAL??? This is just going to eventually turn into a story about a hate crime happening in farmington because now latino's are the "bad guys" and going to be pin pointed. Sad really, come on people see the bigger picture!

If I remember correctly, the census does not include hispanic/latino as a race and Mexican is a nationality. So it is not racism on part of the daily times, it is how the census is taken. Hispanic/Latino is considered an ethnicity...race and ethnicity are two separate things. Even Arabs are counted as white under the census definition. Just thought I would remind people before this becomes a huge race debate. educate yourselves on the facts before you start condemning people.

I hope they toast the two racist comments on here so far. I am Caucasion and the mexican neighbors I have, have been the best neighbors I have had since I have lived here. That has included two other sets of neighbors. DT patrol your forums. You state that people must "Be polite. Inappropriate posts may be removed by the moderator." At the bottoms of this box.

The Farmington Metro Area has lost 3,118 people out of it labor force and 5,675 Jobs since Oct 08; 748 people having left the labor force and 303 Jobs lost since April 2010.

'If you look at it in the context of what's happening in the job market, then that rate of growth could actually be a problem, Roberts said.'

So what rate of Growth is bumbling Tommy Roberts talking about - thousands of houses for sale and apartments for rent in Farmington where prices have fallen 30% since Oct 08 ???

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
