So... When will we get word on combined service, order ala carte programming, what stations will live and which will die, and be notified on whether or not we need to buy new receivers? I'm an XM subscriber, but I've been wanting Sirius programming for a long time. I can't wait!

I have a lifetime subscription for Sirius. I hope we do not have to exchange any receivers or hardware.

I sure hope they keep SIRIUS's line of rock stations, XMs is rather lacking.

yes i had a chance to listen to XM music when I rented a couple cars in Houston and I was surprised that the music was not too interesting. Sirius has channels devoted to each of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and other channels devoted to music genre's, various rock, country, jazz, classical. A channel devoted to Sinatra. I love it. Then there is Howard and other comedy on Raw Dog. I also listen to CNN Headline news, BBC, etc. What do you like on XM?

I think any one who has not had a chance to hear the Howard Stern show will be pleased. He really does put on an interesting show. Some of it is a little raunchy but the interviews of celebrities are very good, the music guests are great, Artie Lange is hilarious, the phony phone calls are interesting and the callers are interesting. I couldnt get thru rush hour traffic without it. Other comedians and other personalities also have time slots on Howard's channels so it is mixed well.

The CEO said today, on the Stern show, Tic that the two radio companies will be ooperating separately for the forseeable future. There may be some instances where Siruius programnming will be offered to XM users and XM programs offered to Sirius users, and he also said that he does not know if baseball will be available to Sirius users before the season is over. He also said it will take a long time, maybe till 2015 or 2018 before they can get a satellite launched that will provide XM and Sirius to the same radio.
