We loved Slim. We did his tree work at his house in Tesuque in 1980. My husband gave me a saddle Slim made for my birthday on May 1st.He had made for Mrs Eagn that owned Rancho Encantado. She did not like the size of the horn so I was able to get it and not have a two year wait at that time for his work. I have kept it perfect and did not use it alot because of the weight. I am thinking of selling it and do not know how to find a buyer that is looking for his work. My e-mail is goldenlink4@aol.com if you have any suggestions. Thanks he was the best and always a real kick to be around. Carolyn Scott

I remember Slim from Tesuque. I remember his saddles too. Rest in Peace, Slim.

Good question. Prices are all over. the trick is to find someone who wants a Slim Green Saddle. I currently have two of his saddles for sale on e bay. I just picked a price I'd be happy with and used it as a starting point.
