what a bunch of emotional nutcases! It's too bad they didn't lock them up before they could do the damage they did.

What leads people to be so paranoid and violent?

I brought this subject up because of the relativity and the connection it makes with so many Muslims who post here saying that September 11 could never have been done by Muslims.

I'm not expecting these Muslim head-in-the-sands to actually be open minded enough to realize the facts...but I thought the rest of us could appreciate it.

Ah, I love the logic. So just because Muslims smash up a shop (allegedly) in protest to attrocities committed by the west against them, every other crime that has ever happened must also have been performed by them.

Wonderful.

Then again, I don't expect US nutcases who have their head-in-the-sands to be open enough to think about how 9/11 happened and come to the realisation that it couldn't have been done by any civilian, let alone those that didn't know how to fly. Ever watch 'Loose Change 9/11'? You might want to give it a shot, if you are truely open-minded.

The US govt is the guilty party, but of course they'd never incriminate themselves, hence the truth is buried as a "conspiracy theory" and the conspiracy theory labelled the truth. The victims of the falsehood rebel, and thus validate the falsehood in the first place.

Open-minded is not the same as gullible. Loose change is FILLED with nonsense. Sometimes merely errors, sometimes outright lies, often a one-sided interpretation of events, leaving out any evidence that contradicts its own hypothesis, and equally often downright distortions.

Muslims completely miss the point. Everything that a Muslim needs is in the Quran and and Sunnah (Teachings and sayings of the prophet Muhammad). We do not need hero's or villains to worship or blame. ALLAH has given us enough to sustain ourselves.

The letter being used to fight Starbucks in my view is irrelevant, whether its a fake or not. The fact is that most Western societies officially supports the state of Israel. American's who pay tax are indirectly supporting the billions of dollars being sent to Israel. Its not only commercial companies that send money back into Israel, it is also your very own governments. Thus therein lies the problem.

To Muslims who feel angry about the Holocaust of the Palestinians (yes I said Holocaust) then my advise to you is to put your money where your mouth is and send money to respectable aid organizations for food, shelter, clothing, medicine, etc to the people of Gaza right now.$20 will feed a family for a week (well just barely but enough).

My advise to the non Muslims who have a deep hatred of Islam: There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. We are not going anywhere. We are the fastest growing religion in most Western countries. Get used to us. Your attempt to defame is futile. Your attempt to associate pain, death, suffering and agony to Islam is futile. What you are really afraid of is that Islam may take your right away to drink your beer, to have sex with prostitutes, to gamble away your hard earned money and to get yourselves into debts you can never pay.

Sigh, people, Islam is not the enemy. The enemy is human greed, lust, envy, primal urges, arrogance and violence. Read about Islam, and i mean REALLY read about Islam, not just from Islamic Hate sites. I would be willing to give you the right directions if you would like.

Take care and peace.

Islam is an absolute. Anything outside of Islam may be disrespected, vilified and hated. Islamic fanatics believe Muslims are "pure". Others are unclean or kufars. In the attempted destruction of the Hazara people of Afghanistan, who are ethnically Persian as well as religiously Shiite, there is an attempt of "cleansing". The idea of killing Shiites is at the root of the recent suicide bombings in Iraq. Similarly, The Nation of Islam, is not considered Islam by the Arabs.

The disrespect, contempt, jealousy and hatred demonstrated by so many Islamic posters is inherent in the Islamic belief system.

Zusannah, can you explain where in the comment that Trisha made she "lied" and "deceived"?

Just claiming it is so doesn't make it so.

C'mon, you can do it, be a normal human being and provide evidence (whcih, funnily enough, Trisha actually did). Or do you actually WANT to be the same as that what you accuse others of?

The reformation began in 1517. Islam is impervious to modernization or reform. Rather than reform, Muslims blame external forces for their poverty, sectarian violence, oppression, corruption and illiteracy. Muslim countries remain 5 decades behind the rest of civilization in infrastructure, economic development, science, education and medicine. Rather than examine the root of their problems, Muslims tend to demonstrate contempt, violence, jealousy and hatred towards infidels.

Perhaps instead of always criticising anti-Islam bigots, maybe you should look internally and realise that many Muslims hold the views stated above towards non-Muslims. Hate flows both ways.

That simply means Islam has a few hundred years left to catch up. The Roman Catholic Church was established in 313, it took us “glorious Christians” over a thousand years to reform and stop burning people at the stake!

Reality is recognizing that Islam is refusing to catch up and continuing to blame the infidel. The murders by Islamofascist dictators like Assad in Syria and Saddam Hussien and Omar Quaddafi are equivalent to burning people at the stake. Reality is the sectarian violence and recent suicide attacks in Iraq and the violence of Muslims against each other and people of other faiths. The reality is the fact that Muslims are killing and persecuting Christians in Iraq, Iran, Nigeria and Pakistan.

Keep up the hate, keep up the stereo typing, keep the generalizing, keep up ignoring your history of beheading anything that refused to be converted to the "glorious" Christian faith - it makes you a good Christian!

Christianity today is by far the most benevolent of the 3 Abrahamic faiths. It is not even up for debate.

Perhaps you ought ask the tens of thousands of Catholics that have been assaulted and molested by benevolent Christian priests. I like especially the kneeling before a bloody corps on a cross? It is an apparently good thing being tortured to death!

You know what I especially like, is how the thugs who murdered Ilan Halimi read from the Qur'an while they burned him with acid, broke his fingers, cut off his ear, stabbed him, sodomised him with a broom, and then left him to die near a train station.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember Ted Bundy reading gospel when he committed his murders...

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
