Rampant greed created this problem. And until the government puts in proper checks & balances, the system will continue to fail.

The Governments job is to govern, to be the "fair referee" if you will, when multiple parties disagree. It's role is to step in to ensure the success of the country as a whole.

Right now business's seem to be over exploiting individuals, that threatens the country's success, so perhaps something should be done.

The thing most people don't get is that Business's obviously can't be trusted to self regulate, anymore than criminals can be trusted not to re-offend without some kind of intervention.

That's why several regulations need to be put in place...

Personally, I believe part time/Temporary/Non-Permanent categories should be eliminated in order to shift business's cost cutting initiatives away from causing such disruption with workers lives in those respects. If that means that companies can only employ less total workers, that's the nature of it's business. And if a business can't afford to function with all permanent employee's, than it doesn't deserve to be in business!

Just a lesson from someone having 41+ years of work experience. First of all, when the economy is weak or bad companies hire temporary or contract workers, the main reason they are unsure if they continue to be in business, it allow then to adjust their needed workforce. Second, if you want the opportunity to have a full time job companies usually hire those who were temporary and did a good job of work and attendance.

Sleazeballs across the country routinely hire temps to avoid paying a living wage and health insurance. Right wingers think American workers should work for minimum wage and like it!

It will continue to be harder to get permanent employment. Over the years of DFL initiatives that always blame the business first, it has made permanent hiring much more expensive and risky. So, again like in Europe, companies are just bring on temps. The left is astoundingly stupid on economics.
And the Republicans have been blameless on the lack of jobs and job creation. How many Republican CEO's have offshored jobs and manufacturing. They both stink get a clue.

Sleazeballs........maybe that's why you don't have a job.

You get hungry enough and you'll work for minimum wage.

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Cancer

If you want to make changes to your working environment or career prospects, do your best to get on with your colleagues today. It's a powerful Lunar Eclipse, so the Moon-ruled could encounter opposition as the knives come out. Perhaps someone objects to the way you're doing things, or maybe they're just plain jealous. Ensure that you're acting in everyone's best interests and not just your own, or you'll really land in hot water!
