If you don't want to work to death, just die early. Quit looking for socialism, like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. We WILL privatize them sooner or later, drown them in the tub and get rid of them, along with all the rest of government.

Romney is a moron. We need to lower the Social Security age so these 55 year olds can collect and retire!

By the time a person gets to their fifties, they should have made it in life. Those who haven't are failures.

In your dreams, sucker. Just the opposite, we will raise the age to 75, make you work at Chinese wages (free "labor" market, baby). Then when you reach 75, get rid of the whole F'ing socialist program. Bwaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaa!

Jesus was probably envious too when he preached about how hard it would be for a guy like Bishop Romney to get into heaven. It's no wonder Mormons started their own brand of Christianity.

The idea that one would work for the same company all of his life and retire with his gold watch has been a memory since NAFTA. As both blue and white collar jobs have fled the country, the solution has been "retraining" which was often for jobs that never materialized or were more geared toward new graduates rather than those who might be considered relative short timers. An aging workforce increases costs for businesses, discouraging them from hiring older workers regardless of skill. Unfortunately, the plight of the older workers is not confined to them. Their college educated children are returning home with a mountain of debt and as few prospects as their parents. The outlook is dismal, not just for older workers but for the young as well. In my area, scavengers go through garbage left out for haulers loooking for anything made of metal. Flag holders in the cemeteries aren't even safe. Many people ply their skills "under the table." Government is so far removed from reality that the mention of politicians evokes disgust. They are parasites who have bled the American people dry with their myopic policies. There is no leadership and no solution to be found from them.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Virgo

You have a very high opinion of a certain person today, believing that they can do no wrong. But how realistic are you being? It looks as though you're viewing the world through rose-colored glasses, which is fine if it's only a temporary state but quite another matter if you're deliberately ignoring problems and pretending that they don't exist.
