However, if you want support for your issues you'd better rethink your attitude. Bashing someone who's dead and can't defend themselves, is insulting. One doesn't have anything to do with the other. But if you want to piss people off, as you have me, keep on being a b!tch and making spiteful and malicious comments like you have in this post and I can see any support for your cause dwindling. Yours was an extremely nasty and perverse comment and uncalled for!

I saw post #2. I am also a NJ Resident. So with comments like posts #1 and 2, if it comes up for a public referendum, how do you think I'll vote?

Virgin birth? Joseph stuck his pipe into that sack!
In your uneducated and crude little way, are you saying that Jesus was his own father?

And you think OTHER people have problems?

So, you mean to tell me that you would vote to harm thousands of good, hardworking couples and their families, most of whomh have never even heard of Topix, because you find a couple of posters on the site to be rude or inappropriate?

Amazing.

Amazing.
What's amazing is that you belittle the attitude they have. Empathy and compassion are universal and while not civil rights, are moral rights. You don't bash the dead, period!

This isn't the first time I've read comments from gays wanting support for civil rights while being nasty and demeaning. Don't come at me with your sanctimonious attitude while you have yet to address the comments of your fellow gays. Clean up your house first, and then maybe you'll get some support.

I am as empathetic to people as they are to me. That's a right too! Perverse comments don't go over well with most people and you'd be wise to remember that while sprouting about gay rights or your rights!

oh, shit... give it a rest and go out and get yourself laid. it really doesn't matter, anyway.

That she was and no matter what her issues were, people who want compassion and understanding should not use her problems, nor deaths to promote their issues or express their frustration. One had nothing to do with the other. Furthermore, female entertainers such as Whitney and others are the biggest supporters of Gay issues, both financially and giving of their time. Whitney herself supported Gays and for those two nasty and perverse posters to post what they did is an insult to her memory but worst as to what it says about the type of people they are. Worst still is the enabler trying to instill guilt but never once taking those two posters to task for their inappropriate remarks.

No, she DIDN'T "support gays" ! She was quoted in "The Advocate" as saying "I hate homosexuality".

If you disagree, please cite ANYTHING she did for gay and lesbian people.

And it's a travesty that American flags should be flown at half-staff for a washed-up has-been junkie.

Uh huh, lol. Gov. Christie just vetoed the Gay Marriage bill. It now goes up for a vote.

Your chances, nasty thing? A big fat zero! I don't like Christie, but I dislike you more. I'll remember your discourteous comments on this thread and hope other New Jersey residents (Whitney's from NJ, btw) read your comments.

Your an inspiration to the Gay cause. Just can't keep your perverse mouth shut, can you?

Quoted text from JbAlcantrara post #3 "Homo, trans, bisex, and asexuals are anomalies and they go against the laws of nature (where reproduction can only be achieved through heterosexual fornication) and traditional religious believes! " followed by post "if you are able to stick your pipe into your septic hole and get pregnant, then post the video on the net as scientific evidence.
Virgin birth? Joseph stuck his pipe into that sack! "

So where's your outrage that this person is using nasty mean language to denigrate people? You come on here say such and such a poster made a rude comment so you can't support gay marriage anymore, all the while ignoring the nasty posts made by the anti-gay.

Your Hypocrisy is showing

What's your point? I didn't see the post and who is he that his opinion matters about anything? Touchy, I see. Don't speak ill of the dead, was my point. I don't have a problem with gays or their rights, but I would have dressed down anyone, black/white/green/or purple speaking ill of the dead that can't defend themselves.

Perhaps you should get used to diversity which means, you can't hide behind being gay, the same as I can't hide behind being black when someone disagrees with you all. So you're a hypocrite as well since you think it's ok to trash the dead but I should speak up for gay rights? How does that work? Respect goes both ways, maybe it's time people like you who want it, learn to return it, especially to someone who cannot defend themselves.

Whitney was bi-sexual and everyone knows it. She did Aids benefits and if you want proof, don't go to the Advocate, go to her website.
