Excuse me for bringing the painfully obvious into focus, but who the hell wants to have a city park environment on a cruise? Someone needs to pay me big bucks to be a cruise ship construction consultant if this is the kind of crap these people are coming up with...

Sounds wonderful to me. I wonder if DAS has ever been on a cruise...usually people who talk like this don't have a clue to what they are talking about.

Right, like I'll pick that instead of the balcony over the ocean!! Hmm, park view or ocean view?? As you said someone is overpaid.

Well at least there won't be any freshly washed cars for them to target with their leaf blowers.

You people are soooo negative!!! Its nice to have a park view and an ocean view. I just went on Norweigan cruiseline and I hated it. I LOVE Royal Caribean!

I loved it! That was great! and funny!!! I think Royal Caribbean has run out of things to put on their ships. That next project genesis ship will have a replica of the Red Light District in Holland with real hookers. My god!

Central Park? Those balcony cabins above will have a bad disposition. You wont be able to sleep or even nap it will be sooo noisy down below. who's idea is that? I'd prefer the ocean view. More tranquil than watching 5,400 guests trying to squeeze through there. Who says you wont be able to get one (Quickie) behind the bush? I guarrantee the rape count will go up on these ships.

Royal Caribbean already has cabins that overlook a central promenade area on some ships. Those cabins, however, do not have balconies and the area does not have skylights.

Also, I agree with "SAD" from Delray. Why are you people so negative? This is a private company talking about their product. I've never been on a cruise and probably never will. However, that doesn't mean that I'm going to complain about what RCCL is doing.

Chill out, folks.

I've been on plenty of cruises and this stunt is just plain stupid and panders to the dorky New Yorkers that moved out because they can't afford to live there.

Nothing worse than a ship full of low rent New Yorkers...

Ooh ... now there's a cruise I'd go on! You'd have to be out in Int'l waters of course, but I like your idea.
