I am so glad those morons fired me...I have found a great job that actually treats me like a human being. I really hate to see my friends who are still with the company deal with this level of BS. But I cannot wait for the day for this company to go belly up.

Did somebody say they let a bunch of corporate people go in February? Did they cut dead wood or good people?

They let go of jobs that were created for the brooks eckerd buyout and are no longer needed. A lot of companies are freezing salaries and cutting jobs that are not needed. They just need to get rid of their non profiting stores and concentrate on their money makers.

Trench Manager wrote: Everything both of you say is true... The problem is that the the upper management has forgotten who makes them the money. If we have no one in the stores its a snowball effect. I have seen a direct correlation between customer service and shrink as the labor cuts take effect. We can run without 17 vice presidents, can we run with no employees or store management??? do you really have 17 vice presidents?

Cvs and Walgreens are way better and much more well-run companies than Rite Aid. I saw the light and left. I've talked to some of the people still there, and not one of them is happy. Just a crappy company all around
