About 9 months ago all the employees of Omnicare took a pay cut of 2-5%. Recently only the pharmacists were given their cut back (was to be kept hush hush), but not the others. How can this company call itself ethical when the people who make this company what it is do not get their cut back or any raises! Most of these employees need their 4% and raises to make ends meet. We need to speak out about this, but most employees are afraid of losing their jobs.

I agree with you on this one. We in the trenches have to work harder and longer while the fat cats that spend their days "golfing" get bonuses and full compensation. I just saw an article that said the CEO moved up the list of Forbes executives from 103 in 2009 to 50th in 2010....did he make that rise by not giving us raises???

I wish I had of realized this post was here a long time ago. We were granted a prayer today. Joel is gone, maybe now we will have someone that is not out for his pocket and someone that is actually caring about the people that got him where he is. He may have they financial sense but he never did the work and never got treated the way his employees have. Maybe that is the way big business people work, however in my dealings with big corporations and being a company myself. You take care of your employees and they take care of the rest. It was always the "Golden Rule". Everyone seems to have forgotten that in business.

If you'd rather get together with one special person, make the occasion as memorable as possible.
