My husband, Dennis, was told he would not be asked to return to Channel 4 so that they could hire a more "experienced" sports director. Well, I have never "experienced" more disloyalty in my life. Dennis poured his heart and soul into that station for 12 years only to meet an unfathomable end. I am a Buffalo girl and when we married, Dennis fell in love with the city I grew up in. If we now have to leave the area due to Channel 4's decision, it will be a shame that Buffalo could lose two more hard-working, young adults who wanted to help this town grow and thrive. Channel 4, I hope your new topgun sportcaster is all that you wished for.
You have my full support, I could not believe that Dennis had been replaced. He had a winning personality that drove home the news of sporting events, both professional and high school. Channel 4 has lost two great reporters: Dennis Williams and Kevin O'Neil. I was born many moons ago and have watched Channel 4 with my parents right up to the present (late 1950's till the present). I like Don Paul who is a true weatherman in every sense--he is always right. I like Jacquie Walker and Don Postles as well. I love Channel 4, and hope that the powers that be will realize that they need zest and enthusiasm in their sportscast to make them truly competitive.

First, Kevin O'Neill's real name isn't Smith, it's Strait (I hear the chuckles already..now you know why he uses a different name).
Second, Murph is no fun to work with from what I hear...was a blessing in disguise that Dennis was pushed in a new direction. Too good for that nonsense.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
