It amazes me that someone so talented and seemingly bright could believe in such conspiracy theories. It's thought like this that maintains the divide between the black and white communities. I learned a couple of things on topix this week.If you mention these words then you are automatically talking about white people.I guess there are only whote people in small towns and the government.

Its sad for alot of folks believe they know the difference between Rap- Hip Hop (including Gangsta Rap) and Urban Music you hear on the radio nowdays. From NWA and Public Enemy- I think they would beg to differ with her statement.

uhhh, just for the record, Public Enemy is not the gangsta rap she was referring to.

I also think you may not have understood her comments and are taking them out of context. Alicia Keys is an extraordinary artist who is very successful.

I still love her after her statements.
