I could not agree more The "deregulation" of the airline industry has resulted in a lowering in the quality of airline pilots because they work long hours for low pay There was a time that former Navy and Airforce pilots would go to work for the airlines after they left the service for big salaraies. These days you have inexperienced retarded pilots woking for 80 hour weeks for 40 grand a year. I am surprised we don't have more crashes. I have not been on a plane since 1996. I would rather rent a nice Mercury Grand marquis and drive where I need to go instead of being harrassed by retarded TSA security guards, dealing with delays, lost luggage and incompetent pilots getting skull from female co-pilots while we crash into houses in Clarence With airline pilots you get what you pay for---just like with volunteer firemen |
