I have complained about this to Netflix several times. It seems that every several months a batch of gay movies are all of the sudden 'included' even though my preferences to never show such content is set.

I thought at first that is was possible some just don't get coded correctly, but I no longer believe this. I spent considerable time checking the tags for movies then setting my preferences to remove content with that tag.

Strangely enough it works every time for other content.

Stop the crap Neflix.

Maybe there's bigger things to worry about in the world than blocking "homosexual" content on Netflix. Try it, you might like it. It's 2012. Homophobia is ignorance!

a person has the right to block what they want. Homophobia is not ignorance. adam and eve was created, not adam and steve.

my truths, please provide evidence of the said "creation" and we will talk. Otherwise it is pure conjecture and an example of believing things that are very silly.

With that said I do agree that one should be able to block Netflix content that one wishes to avoid.

how about you provide proof "said" creation did not happen. You want others to provide proof for their beliefs when you cannot provide proof for your own belief.

"how about you provide proof "said" creation did not happen. You want others to provide proof for their beliefs when you cannot provide proof for your own belief."

Nope, that is called shifting the burden of proof. You make a claim and therefore it is your responsibility to provide evidence for it.

And I have to prove nothing as my beliefs are irrelevant. I simply reject YOUR claim while making none myself.
If you cannot prove your claim then it is absolutely reasonable for me to reject it.

I can claim that Lord of the Rings is based on true events. Is it reasonable for me to ask you to disprove it? No, your job is to either agree (without evidence) or reject (due to lack of evidence).

Anyone can claim anything but that does not imply truth.

Simple no?

the thing is, you did not need or use proof to form your own opinion so why do you need proof when you hear one that is different? I have my opinion which I believe is true no matter what others think. If you do not like it or agree with it - tough!!! I do not have to prove a thing nor do you have to prove a thing. But if you require proof you better submit your own to be taken seriously.

You're a silly person aren't you?

Of course I require proof from you as you are the one who makes a claim. I make no claims = I do not need to support a claim-less position . I simply reject yours since, again, you have no evidence.

If you are willing to believe something that is based on nothing, that is called being delusional and that is your choice indeed. I am glad that you owned up to it.

Also, do not forget that this whole thread started because you injected religion into a Netflix forum.

A homosexual movie in a queue has nothing to do with religion. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
