Full story: United Press International

Will Black Sunday 2008 replace Black Tuesday 1929 in the mythology of financial disaster? It sure looks like it.

if ever the united states had an impeachable president, george bush ranks in the very first quadrant. clueless in foreign, economic and domestic policies, he has led this country in eight short years to the most detrimental state we have seen since the revolutionary war. while the u.s infrastructure is falling apart, our economy is almost bankrupt and foreign nations, allies included will watch the demise of this great country. all of our great institutions will be owned or indebted to not our allies but our greatest enemies. policy will be dictated by necessity and not by growth. the united states is fast becoming an indentured servant

The fact is U.S.A. is so exposed to others countries once their arch-enemies that they could bankrupt it at will.
The combined stockpile of paper dollars by China and Japan, if realised onto the money markets, it would result in the total economic collapse at home and abroad.
At best U.S.A will decline as an ecomomic power.

Feminism is the root cause of all collapses. Long time After the demise, when historians look back at what really happened, they'll find the American Woman squarely in the cross-hairs and squarely to blame for all the bad things that happened to a once great country.
They'll have nothing but rebuke, strong harsh words for the american women.

It amazes me that companies are doing business with communist China. China is a crouching tiger waiting patiently to consume it's prey. When Russia was still under communist rule our country didn't do much business with them during the cold war.

We can thank the first George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton for opening up trade with China.

Thank your Senate and Congress, they don't give a rats arse about the American Worker - white collar or blue collar.

We didn't see financial collapse in 2008 as the article above was concerned, but that doesn't mean the risk is gone. There are a lot of black swans swimming in the pond. One could come ashore any time.

That's why I consider it prudent to own some gold and silver. If you haven't started accumulating some yourself, it might be time to start. Some good (non-commercial) advice posted here:

Agree! Remember when Reagan started NAFTA and Clinton signed it.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
