This is a very long story but I will recap the highlights. Anyone who lives in the Midwest has heard of the Steadman/Hawkins Clinic in Vail, CO. They are world renowned for their orthopedic surgery. One of their students cut out a small cyst from under my right scapula. In so doing, she also decided to be creative and cut 4 major nerves in my neck, back and arm. Disabling me for the rest of my life. I just had my 32nd operation to repair damage. I've had 2 cervical fusions, a scapulo/thoracic fusion. I had a neurostimulator implanted for pain control and I am a captive of morphine. My last surgery was to take out the plate and wires were wrapped around my ribs to fuse my scapula down. This surgery should help with the pain. It should have been done years ago when the fusion was solid but for some unknown reason the Steadman/Hawkins Clinic never told me this and then refused to see me as a patient. My life was ruined by the creative genius of a former student of the Steadman/Hawkins clinc and my only recourse was to be able to write that surgeon a letter and ask her if she slept well at night because I don't.
