Why McDonalds is not always what it appears to be.....

Did you know that McDonalds has built a brand on being a very "Happy Place"; both restaurant service and a place to work. What you do not know about McDonalds is that they have also built a structure on racism. They currently do not have minorities in leadership roles at their Hamburger Universities. There is a brewing class action lawsuit in the works against McDonalds because of this and there continued recklessness of not hiring minorities in leadership positions. They continue to hire under qualified individuals "White" male and females in these roles. Lets band together and finally put an end to McDonalds!!!

What? There is no such lawsuit or discrimination policy in place. McDonald's hires qualified, dedicated, and motivated individuals, regardless of age, sex, race, religion, etc. Your arguments are horrible and based without proof or reason.

Do you work there? If not you will not no!!!

Let me talk to people who have worked in that environment. The culture ther "Hamburger University" is not set up for success for minorities!!

Do I work where? For McDonald's? Yes. For Hamburger University? No, but the policies there are the same as the rest of McDonald's. In fact, many people teaching at Hamburger U are or were involved in the restaurant operations (hence how they're now teaching the theory), where there is an enormous amount of diversity between employees.

I'd like to see your proof that McDonald's purposely discriminates against people like you say they do.

Please explain how the "culture" present at Hamburger U purposely prevents minorities from succeeding. There is a standard for all people to meet, so all races are held to account together, equally.

Hmmm.... I'm looking at the US Training, Learning, & Development organizational chart on accessmcd right this minute. No Shelly there.

I'll give you a bone though, and assume you're not using your real name. You can prove you work there by posting the name of the current Dean of HU, one of the professors, and the name of one of the national training directors. If you can't supply that info, then you DON'T, in fact, work there.

You posted on a public forum, so this discussion is for ANYONE who chooses to read and respond.

A simple Google search will, in fact, tell you that the current Dean is Maureen Getcliffe.

Name the others that I requested, and I will give you the benefit of the doubt. But you cant, can you? If you do work there, my questions would have been EASY to answer.
