It definitely varies from Mcd's to Mcd's. Some are individually owned. I would say just wear long sleeves to your interview; as it looks professional anyway. But when I worked there we had several supervisors and managers with visible tattoos.

Tattoos are links to higher crime and violence rates. They look disgusting and unprofessional. They're not allowed in our restaurants. Get over it.

I would not hire you, and definitely not put you into any sort of leadership role. It is your slack store that makes McDonld's look bad, not my commitment to professional looking employees. man just cause you havnt got any tattoos.. People get tattoos of there family that have died and things that have meaning to them.. Who r u to call that filth.. Your filth

I'm very sorry to inform you of this but the international headquarters for mcdonalds does not control an international policy for tattoos. They simply state that large visble tattoos should be covered. Understabley I can see why facial tattoos would be considered unacceptable, but bodily ones are not (unless large, then they must be covered). You are completely misquoting and shaming a company that you seem to love. Also, even with the general tattoo policy, a seperately owned store is controlled by its owner, they must loosely stick to McDonald's policy, and with light policies such as tattoo ones the rules can be bent judging on the owners own beliefs. You have your own personal opinion, and I hope your store manager knows about your strong views.
Thank you very much for reading, and hopefully under standing
