Got Called By McDonalds, Need to go to Orientation Tomorrow

I applied at McD's on Monday (2 days ago), and they haven't replied back yet. Should I be worried? Should I go into the store tomorrow and ask about my application?

I would wait until early next week, say Tues or Wed and then call.

I had got my dream job back it didn't go as planned. They changed everything! Does anyone's register not have pictures on it? I guess I'm just sol

I got a call two Fridays ago and missed the call because the number was weird so I didnt answer. Then the same number called back and left a voicemail saying I was invited to an interview. I called back that monday and I was told I missed the interview. Then I got a call last Friday asking to come in for an interview the coming Monday which was yesterday. The Interviewee asked for my name, age, school, previous work experience, phone number, and Why I wanted to work at Mcdonalds. Then the interviewee said he was going to hire me. I have orientation Saturday and start work the next day. I was to happy. Can't wait :)))))))

I am going there in 5days (thursday) to work 10am to 2pm
is it possible to ask the manager to give more shifts cos at the moment it says only thursday and friday (4hr each) for the week on 'my rosters'

Wow, you sound like a trainwreck. I wouldn't dare hire you. You can't even show up for your interview? Fine, no job for you!

You should have 24 hours worth of training scheduled when it works for the store. After that ask for more shifts.

Yes. The orientation is to orient you to your new job.

He said I would be watching a two hour movie. Is that orentaion???? And what should I wear and when I go wensday what do I say when I get there??? I dnt know if I should say I'm there for an Interview cuz its not plz help

Tell them you're there for the orientation. Wear business casual clothes.

That's ridiculous. I've worked at McDonalds in the US for a long time and there were plenty of people who only spoke Spanish that were very hard workers (and very kind too I might add). What you said is just pure discrimination!

I don't care if they were hard workers. If they can't communicate with one another, the employees, and the customers, then they're useless.

Any job at McDonald's means nothing next to a place like the Cheesecake Factory that's for sure.

I had an interview on friday. The person interviewing me said I would get an email yesterday telling me If I had got the job or not. I never received an email? What should I do?
