I've been working for a Mcdonald's in Canada, and I really enjoy it. The crew is funny, the manager too. Nobody is forcing you to work there, you got there by your own way.

I'm a swing manager at a McDonald's in NB, Canada, and I have nothing bad to say about it. I've only been here 16 months, and I'm already management, making fairly reasonable wages for a 17 year old.

I've worked at McDonald's for 3 years now and i am currently a manger being talkin to about gettin assistant. i actually really love my job. ya it has those days where i just want to murder every single person there. but it has the better days where everything is sooo wicked. u ppl complain about being there 3 days and quitting but if u stuck around im sure u would realize that it's awesome. and if u say u can't get anything out of McDonalds..in grade 12 (last year) i did a project on McDonald's and called over 50 huge business' and found out that if someone applying for a job with them saw McDonald's on their resume then they would deff. pick them first. ( i didn't even mention that i worked at McDonald's when i called.) also i get paid to take firstaid lessons, my school will be paid for by them and all of this ither amazing stuff

Yes, that is a big success... to be the manager of ANY store or company is a big thing. Whether it's a McDonald's or a convenient store the job is still a management one.

You don't NEED to work. You choose to work. If you're working at McDonald's it's because you chose to work there.

I used to work at McDonalds too - not the best money but, hey it's not a 5 star restaurant. At least there was less stress and I had a good time! It's all what you make of it

Working at McDonald's is only about fun - it's sure as hell not about the money or the prestige and it'll only get you so far. Heck it won't even get you a job at a nice restaurant where you can make more money!! Trust me - I tried moving up & it didn't happen. I had to go to Denny's and then i finally got hired at a better restaurant. I'm still trying to get on with a good restauarant.

It won't get you a job at a better restaurant? Are you kidding me? Managers at McDonald's don't get better jobs? People who move up don't get better jobs? I think you need to look at McDonald's for the great amount of beneficial training it has, then realize the amount of "better" jobs it opens up for you.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
