It would be nice if the heads and faces were a bit more authentic. They've always just changed the plastic and hair color and altered a few paint operations.

The black Oreo fun Barbie is my favorite of the black Barbies. It is going to be hard for them to top her.

The new Barbies could be similar to the "Gangsta Bitch Barbie" and "Tupac Ken" as seen on Saturday Night Live.

Is the new black teen Barbie going to be more realistic as well. It would be interesting to her her pregnant like many black teens.

The nogs are always complaining about something and this will be another failed attempt by YT to placate the moon crickets. I knew there was no way for all of you to simply let this article be what it is, a report about a billion dollar industry's changing of one of their products to reflect our country's population and diversity (although, short of the Mulan years ago, you can't find an Asian doll anywhere, which is deplorable). Little girls should have the option to play with dolls that sort of resemble them. And that's pretty much it.

Relax, I'm hopeful that a Meth Addicted Botox Barbie (with an included double-wide Barbie Mobile Home) will be also developed in the near future, so all of you can also have a doll to relate to. One update at a time!

Thank You for your comment. It was the first one that I read that was not influenced by ignorance and blatant racism. I am glad they have made a Barbie that somewhat resembles Black girls.
