The pilots' union is pretty powerful.
It appears the pilot had to take a medical leave of absence. Whatever that actually was about, it shows he definitely felt some sort of stress or repercussions from his behavior.
Think what it will be like for him to board planes to pilot from now on with all the female flight attendants over, say, 25, and all the gay male flight attendants looking at him....
