Seems a little pricey, but I'm sure, as you say, you get the extra stitching, pleating, etc. To each his own, I guess. That's why there are stores galore because we each have our own fashion preference! Have a great night! I wouldn't pay $69.00 for a tank top! I allllllwwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyys sssssss wait for a sale! Even at Talbots - always! I purchase most of JNY items at Macy's and they offer discounts all the time for using your Macy's card (I pay off in full, but can't pass up 15-20% just for using their card), and often have coupons for discounts. Admittedly, there have been times I've missed pieces that I absolutely adored and they were no longer in my size since I waited for the sale, but it's only clothing, not the end of the world, right?

Oh yeah, yesterday I was in Macy's a purchased another JNY 100% cashmere sweater on the clearance rack for $23.00! Now that is a classic piece I will have for years and it was marked down from the original price of 139.00. I purchased the same sweater the day after Christmas in black for 69.00 by the time I got finished with the discounts same for an Anne Klein cashmere sweater. A couple of weeks ago in Talbots I got similar sales on cashmere sleeveless sweater and cardigan...I am definatly into stretching the $$$$$.

Great price on the cashmere sweater! I won't buy cashmere anymore because of the extra care it takes to launder it. But I do love the feel of it!
We all have to stretch the $$$$$$$$$ lately!

The Hills wrote: Hope Liz Claiborne goes Bankrupt ASAP Why are you hoping for yet another American business to fail? Please explain? The news is very depressing daily as it is with all the lay offs and business closings. I don't know that Liz Claiborne is actually going to fail, in fact it seems they are ramping up to appeal to another price point - they have recently bought Isaac Mizrahi on staff as the new creative something or other. He absolutely looooooovvvvvvvveeeeesssss women and enjoys dressing them!

I prefer the Bali brand and normally purchase at Macy's but for the last year I've been purchasing at Kohl's since it always seems to be on sale there. They have jeans that are decent for my 7 year old - he's growing like a weed and it doesn't make sense to spend a lot of money on things he's only going to wear for a few months....my clothing needs to last though since I come back to it for several seasons, so I opt for higher quality items. I have bought clothing and shoes for me and my daughter at Khols. The quality is terrible for the price. As someone stated earlier, Forever 21 clothing is on the line of Khols to me. I will not be spending anymore money there unless they are having a %50 or more off sale!

I know what you mean. My little guy is tough on his jeans and I'm finding the one's from Khols don't hold up as nicely as the one's from the Gap. If I have to keep replacing them then they aren't a bargin. The one's from the Gap wash nicely and he can do whatever 8 year old boys do in them to make them look like he's worked outdoors someplace and they still look good. I'm still only at Khols for lingerie for myself...purchased a pair of jeans from their, after three washing they began to fray at the waistband, again, not saving $ if they have to be replaced frequently. Oh, I did get a refund. I'm not into "disposabile clothing" as I call it, I need my clothing last much longer than three washes!:0 Colloquy wrote: <quoted text>Why didn't you bring them back and ask for a refund or a replacement pair?

I miss Dana Buchman! I always felt wonderful wearing her clothes! Her fabrics felt and looked wonderful on everyone and I was always appropriately dressed. Please come back...your clothes aren't trendy and wear like iron...a buyers dream!!!

Carly wrote: If you love, depend, and trust the Dana Buchman line so much, do you really think she will let her new clothes line at Kohls be sacrificed in her name? Shame on you for not standing behind her and trusting that her new line at Kohls will be just as fabulous as in a boutique. Dana Buchman sold her line and company name. She no longer controls where it is licensed or the quality of the products. The line is now licensed exclusively to Kohl's and is MADE by Kohl's. I would not expect the prior high quality to remain the same.

I'm just curious...reading your comment I have come to the conclusion that you have made an assumption without going to Kohl's and checking out the Dana Buchman merchandise. The Dana Buchman line is still designed by Liz Claiborne Inc. Since you have prior knowledge of her merchandise pre-Kohl's, I would ask that you go to Kohl's and tell me if the quality of the product has declined. She has some very interesting designs, which are like no other at Kohl's. Going from a boutique setting to a small section in a department store...yes, I would say that the style/price/product would change a bit, but from what I've seen, her Spring line looks great!
