Sounds like Terra Nova should be an act in the circus, though I don't know if many people are going to be impressed by the clowns catching knives by the blade. Seems more likely we'll all be appalled and forced to leave before the show is over.

What they didn't tell you is that Merril Lynch gave Lenar 40 cents on the dollar for the 11,000 lots they bought. That's a 60% price reduction on the lots. What do you think your lot is worth now..it will be 60% less.. they just reset the market. Those townhouses will still have to be reduced by another 25%. Total 45% reduction, some parts of Florida are 55% right now.

The houses are in an excellent location, well appointed, etc. However, anyone able to witness the project through the development and building process would have known it was pretty over-the-top, and risky. The houses were WAY too tall in comparison to the surrounding neighborhood, and being situated on the bluff only accentuated their awkwardness. Not saying the homes aren't nice, but they are a bit much, and the market has shown that to the developers. And yes, at those prices (and if they continue to go down), it is a pretty good deal, in comparison to the size/price of the top homes in Federal Hill and Otterbein.

Try living next to the construction site. I left after three months of nonstop work from 5a.m. til it was too dark to see. And the neighborhood, while in Federal Hill, is not safe to park your cars in. Everyone on that street has been broken into, some of them more than once. The garages in these new homes will solve that problem for the new owners but the criminals committing these acts will still be walking literally 5 feet from these $700k+ homes. The houses look out of place and block what little view of the harbor and downtown that I had. Hold out on buying these, prices will go down even further.
