Newhall Ranch parent defaults

The joint venture that owns Newhall Land & Farming Co. has defaulted on a $1.1 billion loan and is working with creditors to restructure the debt, a spokeswoman said.

maybe if they would stop building so many damn homes up here and ruining the once beautiful and peaceful Santa Clarita Valley, they wouldnt be so in debt that they cant pay it back!
