the FACT is that Ohio has been bleeding jobs for 40 years no matter who is Governor. Neither Strickland, Kasich or Santa can make jobs appear in a crappy economy.

I am actually surprised i haven't seen a commercial blaming Strickland for LeBron leaving.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what Kasich did as a Managing Director to earn his big pay checks and bonuses. Anytime he's asked about it, he always points to the fact that he had no power in the company and that he didn't really do anything. It'd be nice if he's clear this up.
How can I get a job like Kasich had? I mean, if I had no power in a company and I really didn't do anything, but yet I would make millions of dollars off this job, then it must be a hell of a sweet deal. I want a deal like that!

The question is who should Ohioans vote for: a man that made millions on Wall Street or a man that has accomplished exactly ZERO in 4 years. I've had alot of jobs, but never got one from a poor man. I'll take my chances with the millionaire. The odds are much better.

You must have a different dictionary for the word FACTS. In ohio in 1970, unemployment was 5.4% with 4.155 million people working. In 2008, unemployment was 6.5% with 5.582 million people working. Sound like a gain of roughly million and a half...working. Doesn't sound like a mad rush to get out of Ohio to me. Although if Teddy gets re-elected it will get worse, not better.

Want a job like that? just become a congressmanor woman, a senator, or the big prize...President. Just think, your campaign will pay millions for you to get a job that pays less than 200,000 and when you retire, you'll be a millionaire. Its called politics and its fast taking this country down the tubes. Our forefathers have to be turning over in their graves at a high rate of speed.

are you seriously trying to tell me that ohio has been successful in the 1970's to today? first, you statistics don't account for a transition from an economy heavy on manufacturing to one that is heavy of service industries and the disproportionate pay realized by workers. what do you think this difference in pay is between youngstown sheet and tube vs. wal mart? more jobs do not equal better jobs.

you don't think people are leaving ohio? then you aren't from here pal. perhaps you should study the FACTS about population out migration in ohio (here is a study http://www.bgsu.edu/downloads/cas/file36251.p... and another http://www.ag.ohio-state.edu/~dataunit/ohtren... . there are dozens. go find more.)

you want to play partisan games because it is an election year, knock yourself out, but it doesn't change that fact that ohio's population growth is around 1.0% while the u.s. is 7.2%(that happens to dying states) and ohio's job growth hasn't been greater than the national average since February 1996 (that's ten years of republican governors and 4 of a democrat).

Like I said, not even Santa can help.

Give it up Strickland. You've lost any traction you had on this one. As a lifelong dem, I am embarrassed about what our party has done and left undone. Focus on what little good there is to focus on - budget cuts; state employment cuts (cuts in the ranks of state employees) and be honest for a change.
Well as a life time repub - I will not ever vote for Kasich the wall street demon! Ted wins by 5 points. Many of my repub friends are voting the same way - against Kasick! For TED!

Ted why do you and Colman do dirty deals with Nationwide to cover up a fire and laws broken and lives risked with the use of your boards and the AG? You kill jobs and lives and you play the same old lies the dems do over and over. No one is buying it any longer and looks like the lives and laws you worked so hard to cover up are going to hurt you.

Get the dmes out and bring jobs back as it will not be easy to undue what Ted has done but we have to start someplace and this is with th dmes out to save Ohio and America.

Interesting take from a man whose Administration obstructed the Inspector General's investigation into wrong doing by the director of Public Safety and who personally challenged the findings.
Don't forget the lottery director, Mikey Dolan, that essentially stole thousands of dollars worth of promotional lottery tickets and used them for his own personal benefit. Ted said that he didn't see anything wrong with that and refused to reprimand him. So what happened? The lottery canned the promo ticket program because, apparently it was the tickets fault and not Dolan's. Dolan later resigned but stayed on the payroll in an "advisory position" collecting his $115,000 for another six months. Must be fun to be politically connected.

Lol. We still have plenty of time left before the election. You can bet your bottom dollar that the Kasich campaign will eventually say that Lebron left because of the burdensome taxes here in Ohio, even though he has all the money he'll ever need and then some. Lebron said he left because he wanted to win a championship, but all the republicans know he was lying.

Strickland hands were as DEEP in the pockets of Lehman Brothers as any other politician. At least Kasich admitted upfront his consultation business with the group.

Strickland as always lies, smears, mud slings, and cast stones upon others. Again, when Ted point one finger at his opponents his other four are usually pointing right back at his GUILT!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Libra

It's one of those difficult days when anything can and will happen. Someone you were relying on might let you down, plans could be changed at the eleventh hour or a machine could go on the blink. To make matters worse, your energy levels are very erratic, so you feel full of beans one minute and ready to go to sleep the next. Don't make the situation worse by eating foods that give you a high followed by a slump.
