As a State employee I fear Kaisch, he will balance the budget at what cost? I know it's going to cost me my job, then what do I do? Kaisch is looking to privatizing the Prisons, Turn Pike and the Lottery. So all those state employee lose there jobs, oh wait they can get new jobs at about half the rate of pay, no benefits and no retirement, SOUNDS GREAT, but the budget will be settled. Oh, yea, when he sales off everything, the STATE will get pennys on the dollar, YES PENNYS. So when you there is no money going to the schools from the Lottery (800 million per year) and the prisons are ran by the people inside, then what. But Kaisch will have balanced the budget, all the state employee now can get welfare and live the American Dream. Unemployeed, on welfare and have no medical benefits.
Wow, you may have to actually WORK!

People should be glad John Kasich knows how to make money. So what if he made even $5,000,000 working for Lehman Bros? Donald Trump makes money too. Wouldn't you rather have someone who knows how to make money, rather the just spend money?

We need someone like John Kasich who can make something of Ohio. He has the business sense needed to bring work back to Ohio.

John is young enough to have the chance to prove he's a leader of people. This governorship, if successful, could ramp his career up to one day be president. That's a challenge I think he would like to take on in the future. He needs to make good on this opportunity to fulfill that dream.

I'm curious...isn't pointing out that your opponent uses "attack" ads, an "attack" ad? And with all the noise and "enthusiasm" of the GOP (like it's some kind of freakin' sporting event and the only thing at stake is MONEY, not LIVES!?), I wonder if they are finally going to shut and take it like "men" if they lose AGAIN. The way Dems did TWICE after the GOP railroaded and BOUGHT Bush II's way into office TWICE. Or is it going to be ANOTHER 2 years of obstuctionist tactics and "wait til next time", waaaaaah, wah, wah!

RIGHT. Let the NEXT generation of thieves, crooks, and criminals get started down the path that Taft built! I mean who cares about the 1000's of lives and families and communities that were/are affected by the aftermath of some big shot back room dealing by millionares? We is too dumb and poor to make decisions that affect our children, parents, and selves. We NEED someone who doesn't have any IDEA what it's like to be BROKE, to show us the "way"! To hell with the high school grad BLUE collar worker. We should ALL have MBA's and be "plumbers", like Joe! Ship all "labor intensive" jobs overseas so all the "foreigners" will stop coming here. We can be a nation of "managers"! Get the "F" out of here with that BS. sarcasm intended.

Obstructionist by ONLY whining and crying about the current state of things and spitting out slogan after slogan, like YOU just did but NOT offering ANY REAL "change". Just the same old crap. "Anyone but Strickland"? Really? After what Taft and his boys were CONVICTED of? Obstructionists because I just realized that I'm trying to have a logical discussion with someone who is NOT making rational statements. What "real" change? Change BACK? Just WHAT "facts"? Strickland is not "profiting" from his time in office and did not get into it for that purpose? The "fact" that certain GOP Govs view the office of Gov as their chance at the spotlight and their ticket to the White House? Rhetoric, son. That's ALL your good for.

Strickland promised to FUND education entirely or be considered a FAILED Governor.

Strickland = Mission Accomplished. FAILED Funding.

Strickland promised to have the MOST ethical Administration in Ohio history after the Taft debacle as Governor.

Strickland = Failed Ethics. Too numerous to list.

Strickland promised to created more Ohio jobs for Ohio Working Families as Governor.

Strickland = 400,000 Jobs Loss. Strickland response was to get on his knees and beg Pres. Obama for scraps. Pathetic.

Strickland promised to OPPOSE gambling to solve Ohio Budgetary shortfalls.

Strickland = Flip flops. Strickland endorsed further expansion of gambling as budgetary gimmick.

Strickland promised to protect gun owners rights as Governor.

Strickland = Against 2nd Admendment Rights. Pres Obama is the most ANTI-GUN President USA has seen. Again, says one thing and allows HIS buddies to take our GUN RIGHTS away.

YOU people...your rhetoric is showing. Where's the beef?

ANYONE BUT STRICKLAND is accurate.

Running a state isn't like selling junk deriviatives, fool. It DOES involve spending money, like it or not. And balancing budgets. And providing state services. And in an economic crisis, it might even involve a tax INCREASE to go with spending cuts.

Can Kasich do any of those things? Of course not. He used his influence with Congress to land a plum job as a Lehman Bros. lobbyist, and now he wants back into office to "serve" the public. I say no. And for god's sake, don't let this ambitious little twerp anywhere near the White House. We don't need another Bush.

You're in the mood to spend money on a favourite hobby or pastime today, so take care if you're supposed to making every penny count at the moment. The temptation to treat yourself to something that you'll undoubtedly enjoy will be too strong to resist, and the trouble is that you might not restrict yourself to just one item either. It looks like being an extravagant day!
