He is way too excited for the Beck really in washington. He is more uncomprehensible than normal. It is less than 24 hours until his nirvana.

I understand that Beck will be providing him with 72 virgins for his undying loyalty to the cause.

Hallet makes a good point. If strickland had any accomplishments to herald he would. Rather he is engaging in one of the nastiest mud-laden campaigns we have seen in a while.

Incumbents- whether Democrat or Republican who can't run for office based on their accomplishments, use smear tactics and attack mode on their opponent. This is exactly what Ted is doing- he can't run on his accomplishments, so attack Kasich and his Wall Street ties- never mind that Strickland took $1.5 million in campaign cash from Wall Street and $25,000 in campaign cash from the Lehman family, and his administration included Lehman Brothers in $6 billion of state business. Circle November 2 on your calendar when these clowns can be swept out of office.

Not a Kasich fan here, but I'm troubled by the fact that I haven't seen a Strickland ad yet that mentions anything about Strickland. Just a lot of smearing Kasich. Why doesn't the Gov. stand on his record instead?

If we can get third parties in power, negative ads won't work anymore. Negative ads really only work when there are only two parties.

This is because if you have three or more parties, then a negative ad is just as likely to drive voters to a third person as back to you.

TEDDIE boy has the revolving door of all his corrupt staff that get caught.
His administration as been filled with political hacks who have little if any real experience in the real world.
Remember all those fired or indicted like, Marc Dann and staff, Helen Jones-Kelley (and others) snooping on Joe the Plumber, Cathy Collins-Taylor of Ohio Dept of Public Safety and Mandy Bishop from ODOT.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. The State of Ohio is in shambles because of the inefficient and ineffective Strickland administration.

Agreed...we need to have more than 2 parties. People think we cn change things in our country simply by electing different people than the ones who are in there now. However, I think we need broad reform...we need REAL, SIGNIFICANT campaign finance reform...(i.e. publicly financed elections to shorten them up and reduce all the ads.) We need real election reform, so that third parties can have a voice and somehow get a seat in Congress. We think we can fix our country by either nibbling around the edges, or by reverting to "old ways" of doing things - which is false. I don't agree with the Tea Partiers because I don't think they have a real, coherent agenda aside from being a melting pot of rage and single-issue fervor. But, we do need a radical change from the status quo. America of the next 100 years is not going to look like America of the last 100 years - people need to accept that and figure out who we want to be going forward, and how we're going to provide for and take care of each other. This country, collectively, has some tough questions to work through - unfortuntely, our current system of elections and politics does not provide a viable forum for that discussion to play out.

Oh...calm down. Ohio isn't in "shambles" because of Strickland. Strickland didn't hire Marc Dann - you elected him. And, the process worked...he's out of office, and we have a great AG in there now. Helen Jones-Kelly didn't hurt a single Ohioan aside from maybe Joe the Plumber, and I think he's doing O.K. Cathy Collins-Taylor wasn't the victim of a political theater. If you expect perfection from your government - you'll always be disappointed - no matter who is in office. This same crap happened under Taft, and probably every other Governor - whether you heard about it or not. We have a government "by the people" which means it's run by flawed individuals like you and me. I wish Jesus would come back and run for office so I could see how long it takes for people to tear him down.

Let's face it --- neither candidate is charismatic, neither candidate has a magic money tree for Ohio, and neither candidate has high approval ratings.

Strickland supporters say the national recession that has affected jobs all across the country wasn't Ted Strickland's fault in Columbus -- and they're right.

Kasich supporters say we've lost hundreds of thousands of jobs on Strickland's watch -- they're right too.

In the end I think Ohioans will be pretty troubled by the idea of rewarding Kasich just because the economy is in the tank. Cutting state government is a drop in the bucket. Eliminating the Department of Development? That's extreme. Kasich has radical ideas, and his past is sketchy at best. Strickland's no angel, but he gets my vote for sure.

Well we thought you were Jesus seeing how you walk on water.

No, Stickland has the most inept administration. Each time I see one of his pressers on TV those standing behind him look like they can from the police line up.

And you are right! The system will work as in November TED is gone.

The ad was disgusting. Nothing but a total mud-slinging attack once again from Strickland. The only thing it told you about Strickland was that he PAID for the ATTACK.

Maybe the reason that Strickland is not giving any plans for Ohio is that he is all out of ideas!

Guess it is time for a change.

Strickland doesn't have to attack Kasich. Strickland is doing a fine enough job destroying his campaign all by himself, not to mention that Strickland is so hypocritical with all the money he has ACCEPTED from Wall Street and Lehman.

Its all well and good now. But neither of them has the power, business savy, or the smarts to make a big impact on the job market in Ohio. The bottom line, Ohio ranks 49th in jobs gained since the economy crashed. And we have how many states in this country? Tells me a lot about how many people in this state are truly unemployed and unable to find any type of work. The jobs are simply not in Ohio any more!! Neither of these men nor anyone else, will make the jobs come back over the next four years plus.

News flash: NOBODY is bringing those (manufacturing) jobs back to Ohio. Not Ted Strickland, not John Kasich, not Barack Obama, nobody. The world has changed - manufacturing jobs are going where labor is cheap, and that's not here. The U.S. cannot be he world's lone economic (or military) superpower forever. You all think that one person getting into power is somehow going to be able to work miracles and reverse the trend. You can create all the incentive programs you want (tax cuts, hell, eliminate taxes all-together; low-interest loans; green jobs incentives; etc.) You are kidding yourselves. We need to have an honest debate about the future of our state and country, and if that debate starts with "how do we get those manufacturing jobs back?" it's a waste of time.

NEWSFLASH!!! Ohio was in shambles before Strickland, Strickland just made it worst. Let's not forget good old Taft invested our money in coins which amazingly disappeared. So Dems/Reps alike if your a politician you suck and you are not going to do anything good for this state or country.

Agree, we are on trend now that we won't get out of until other countries rise to our level and we lower to theirs.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
