I personally find Governor Strickland to be likeable, and honorable. I remember when he was running for governor, he ran a smart campaign saying that he would clean up the corruption of the Taft administration and that he would provide our state with much needed economic stability. He said that voters should judge whether or not they should vote for him, or Mr. Blackwell, on the basis of the performance of the Republicans. He ended up winning and deserved to do so.

Unfortunately for Governor Strickland his own campaign strategy can now be used against him. Now it is Governor Strickland who, Mr. Kasich can say, you should judge whether you should vote for him, or for me, on the basis of his performance. When Governor Strickland took office the unemployment rate in our state was 5.3%, and as of July 2010 our unemployment rate in our state was 10.3%. In addition Governor Strickland cannot use the whole notion of - I cleaned up corruption in our state - due to the malfeasance of Marc Dann and his cronies.

If you are unbiased enough to judge a governor on their performance you would agree, in my opinion, that Strickland deserved to win in 2006, and you will realize that on the basis of Governor Strickland's performance from 2006 - 2010, he deserves to lose as well.

Ted and his pals from Coleman who Ted took Kevin Boyce and handle the moneys of Ohio was Coleman’s bag man for pay to play and now Teds. Ted has used Boyce, AG Richard Cordray, and the Ohio Board of Building Standards (OBBS) for pay to play by letting Nationwide and the city violate Ohio law and resulted in the November 14th 2008 Arena District power black out and risked lives and laws. This is in State court now.

<quoted text> I'm new to Ohio and I'm trying to make the best choice as far as governor. Exactly, what taxes did Ted Strickland raise? My understanding is that he has NOT raised taxes. I want to vote for him because he seems SO much more competent than this Kasich, but if he's a tax raiser I'm not sure. Please tell what taxes he has raised.
just go the store and also strickland lost ohio 400,000 jobs Kasich wants to get jobs back in ohio, strickland is a noboby and hasnt done nothin for ohio, rebublicans want to cut taxes. smaller goverment, and we sure dont want muslims taking over this country, the 2nd beast!

Has no idea what he is talking about. Republicans will cut taxes for their rich friends, and the 400,000 jobs lost, was not a state-specific item, EVERY state in the country has lost many many jobs... Our of the 6+ millions jobs lost in the country we have lost 400,000 Doesn't seem like that many now does it...

Kasich will destroy Ohio, same as the Repub Taft did prior.

I love reading this stuff. The libs are so frustrated and bitter because they see the writing on the wall. Tax'n Ted's disastrous record speaks for itself, and he might as well start packing his bags. No one is buying any more of his BS. Change is coming.
Oh yeah, well this Independent is voting this fall and it's not Kasick! Don't count your chickens before they're hatched. Strickland may be down but he's not out. Once Ohioans figure out who Johnny is Strickland is a sure thing. Johnny's been hiding until now hoping his lack of a name might help him since the economy is so bad. Nobody believes Strickland is responsible for the job loss in Ohio. More republican dirty tricks. People are bitter bc their out of work thanks to wing nutz!

Give 'em hell, Ted! They can't handle the truth!!
Truth... I think Teddy is the one that can't handle the truth and face the facts that HE lost 400,000 jobs over his watch and afraid to talk about the issues/problems because he is the issue/problem.
Bye bye Teddy, you're negative ad campaigning and tactic to avoid talking about Ohio's problems and failure to come up with solutions has finally caught up. I'll notify the unemployment office you'll be stopping by!

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
