It might have been better if he had profited. If he was a managing director and the company tanked, then would you want to hire him to manage Ohio's budget?

"...We're doing this primarily to show that he did not profit from Lehman Brothers' demise," Milburn said. "His stock in Lehman Brothers is effectively worthless now..."

Nice hatchet job comrade Hallet.

The State must commend you for your efforts.

So, I figure within the next 30 min, we'll have the local LIB posters going ape over the millionaire who screwed up Lehman, wanting to be our next governor.

Not that it matters when the current attorney general has such disdain for our Constitution and by his own silence, it must be assumed that our current governor Strickland doesn't give a flying hoot over it either.

Kaisich says: "I hope every son of a postman can do as well, but I fear those odds are slim unless we can undo the damage that Ted Strickland has done to our economy and get Ohio back on track."

Well, Strickland hasn't impressed me, but comments like that just make me angry. The Ohio economy was in the tank before Strickland entered the picture as governor. That after Ohio had been under GOP control in the governor's office for 16 years, and even longer, I believe, in the state legislature. Looks to me like both parties share the blame, but the GOP more than the Dems since they were the ones in charge...

Looks like Kaisich is just more of the same. He can't manage a business, but he thinks he can manage a state. Sure, why not.

$587,175 as a managing director of Lehman Brothers investment banking division? Forget it Kasich-you are the problem, hardly the solution.

I can't believe after the failed policies of your party, you even have the nerve to think you are leadership material.

Do we really want an easy street millionaire running our state? We need common sense boots on the ground running this state and neither party has offered up anyone of that caliber. If anything Tom Zenty, CEO of University Hospitals should run for governor. He turned that entire system around in a few years and he wasn't afraid to cut the fat where it needed cut to do so. Zenty or someone like him should be the type we want in office, hard working, doesn't play BS political games and has the ability to lead people.

Another attack on achievement coming from the Dems. When did it become un-American to be wealthy and successful ?

As someone who has had the privilege to sit down and talk to him for a few hours, in my infinite wisdom... he is definitely the best choice for the job of Governor of Ohio.

Democratic losers will always want someone to care for their every need. I would be embarrassed to live like that and so should you.

What's even funnier is that republicans also think the Post Office should be eliminated because the postal carriers make too much money.

Absolutely right. Joe sounds a little jealous to me. Too bad this country USED to be land of the free and home of the brave. Success used to be what we all were encouraged to do with our lives. But then when socialism has been picking the pockets of the achievers for over 40 years, we have become a nation of whiners.

Ever heard the saying, "Don't shoot the messenger?" Facts are facts. Just cuz you don't want to hear it, doesn't mean it's not true. If Kasich can diprove the report, let him.

I lost a lot of my retirement invested in Lehman Bonds. It was all I had to live on. Kasich gets paid over half a million to manage. Sure as hell wasn't paid on performance. Every body at Lehman got richer and I don't have enough to live on. Kasich you will rot before you get my vote. Now Obama will be taking anopther 3.8% of what I have left of my retirement funds to pay for his health care. I have paid all of my bills all of my life and provided well for my family and now our goverment takes so much away I need help. Well if your in office I am going to vote you into retirements as well.

I don't do "faith based voting". As I said, he is simply NOT leadership material. I grew up in Westerville with Kasich- you need to spend more than a couple of hours with him. Of course, some people are dazzled just by getting the opportunity to speak with someone who "has been on the TV". The rest of us see through that...
