I am sorry i'm an idiot. I lost my job on my own accord. If I wasn't such a loser in life and my dad didn't sleep with me than maybe I would have aspired to be more than a fourth grade school teacher. I mean after all where else could I look at children all the time and thank god for not being outed as a pediphile. Lock your children up Rosco has spoken. To all you Ford workers, thank you for the wages you elevated my trashy ass to. To my UAW brotheren, I'm sorry I whined like a little bitch. Sempter Phi

I'm not sure how any union members actually earn their living. Usually no education, performing unskilled work and often making over $50,000 a year, not to mention all of the sweet benefits. People with no abilities should be paid like people with no abilities. Instead, they've banned together to force someone to pay them more than they should be making. I'm glad it's finally coming to an end.

Down with the big 3, Down with unions.

What do you drive Leon ?Another guy with a majic car that does'nt break? If we dont have our own cars we are $$$cked. If your not sure what they do,take a tour.Physical work out.6 days a week. Its a team.A company would never give you a pension if it were not for a union. We are together to share the profits of our labour.Down with all domestic vehicles. How much will the cars cost then ? Im glad I can build my own.

Everyone must suffer through change. Because we would not change our wants and needs, the world outside the good old USA has grasped the oportunity and look what those poor "dumb bastards" in Brazil have. Everyone, wise up. Wake up and smell the odor of the same old US Auto Factories. I have been to many of these factories and they all smell the same way they have for 90 years! I have been with Lear for 23 years and what the unions have done for the company is a disgrace. ADVANCE RELENTLESSLY!!

You forget one thing, the employees are the union. The problem with unions are that they place non-educated, drug dealers, and bullies into positions that are over there head. So don't blame the union representation because the employees put them into office by a vote. Blame yourselves for not stepping up to the plate and running for a position if you are qualified. Blame yourself for always wanting more out of contracts. Blame yourself for not saving your money when the plant finally closed down. Blame yourself for never reading your contract.

Hey, I got screwed by LEAR also back in 1999, when they were buying up every company they could get their hands on. Then they had to lay off the "excess" people that cane with those acquisitions. Funny thing was we were told it was done on a random computer picking of birthdates. Funny thing was that more than a few of those that were laid off were the ones that did not give to "The United Way" charity drive that LEAR was so big a part of. Makes you wonder about it anyway. Are there any others out there that this happened to?

As for things that happened at the testing facility in Southfield, many programs were given the green light when they could not really pass all the tests. Many of the engineers gave them a go because they “only failed a little”, and management let it slide. Now going thru the auto recycling places (read that junkyards), I look at the parts that have been in the field for 10+ years, and sure enough, they failed the way the prototypes did before it was put into production.

But I have the last laugh, I bought LEAR when it was under a dollar and now it is going to fold. You see, every stock I have ever bought the company fails, I kinda like being a jinx, which it the reason I bought it.

Goodbye Lear, may you “Advance Relentlessly”. Or as it is was also known when Ken Way collected $65 million a year,

Used to work for Lear and the truth simply is: Lear was one of the worst companies I've ever been associated with in regard to how they treat their employees. "Whatever" is mostly correct - in that, Lear did whatever they could do to build their sales base the last 10 years. Too bad for them it cost $1.10 for every $1.00 of sales they had.
They underbid to get the work and then ran it / milked it dry. Very poorly run company with little or no regard for their people.

People in this country are blaming the wrong people. It started with the Clinton Administration. Bill signed NAFTA and shipped millions of jobs out of this country. Be pissed at the Democrats and quit voting for them. You idiots in Michigan (where I live) will never learn. Negroes are Democrats and think Obama is going to save them. He is only going to send further into a jobless depression. His is not the savior, he is the ANTI-CHRIST!!
