It looks like a close race between GC, Sheboygen, and Sydney. Sorry for the bad news folks. Don't forget to vote!

I actually find this kind of distasteful and disrespectful to all the Union brothers and sisters that are going through these tough times together. We all have enough problems that we face right now without adding a poll in which everyone speculates on who is going to get shafted by corporate.

Nice troll job.

Nice troll job.
You are just upset that your plant is towards the top of the list. People deserve a chance to voice their opinions. Place your side wagers now before it is too late!

You only have 10 listed. I know there was 12 UAW plants at the meeting in Detroit. I think one of them missing might be St Clair,Mi. not for sure.

Just curious, Why do so many think it will be the Sidney plant to close, They have always made good profit.
No, I did not vote, I pray that all of us that wants our jobs keeps our jobs. Those who can go to school and get a decent paying job in a few years should go for it. Reach out their and grab hold of your full potential. Which ever way the auto market swings we are still in for a very long ride. Some of us may end up living in our car.

No, that is not the reason I find it distasteful. It is distasteful for the reasons I had stated, period. Sorry to hear that you don't feel it is a shameless troll job you are trying to do by putting other peoples misery on a voting poll, they already know they are in a tight spot and don't need something as tactless as this thread to remind them of that.

Me, I win whether they decide to keep the plant open at a respectable wage/benefit rate or if I get to go to school. But their are many people at all twelve of the plants that may not be as optimistic as I am and really don't need this type of negativity to reinforce that outlook.

Grow up.

My guess is the Poll Master on this one is Grim Reaper, atleast he'll find some employment around Halloween every year! Dumbass! I suppose he's getting a big thrill out of getting us all so "cranked up" on here though, so I think I'll stop wasting my breath on him and his ignorance! Fact of the matter is we are ALL in a tight spot now with IAC, and none of us have any job security anymore. I do not wish to see anybody with IAC lose their jobs any moreso than I wish it for myself, and its beyond me why some dumbass why try to make a bettin' match out of who it will be!!!

You are probably right, as a matter of fact I'd be willing to bet on that. Poll Master needs to get back in his closet and sit on the proverbial pole.

That is just it also, I don't wish anyone that does not want to go on to school to lose their jobs. It's a pretty hard and uncertain time everyone is in and I just find it a bit shameful to make a game out of another persons misfortunes.

Just to be clear everyone. I am a laid off union IAC employee that thought it may be interesting to let everyone express their opinion via this poll. I meant no ill will towards anyone. I don't want to see any plants close, but one thing that I think we can all agree on is that IAC will need to close at one or more plants on this list.

To address a few of the other previous posts:

- I'm sorry if I mispelled your plant name.
- I appologize if I left your plant off the list. I tried to list all the IAC UAW plants that I was aware of.
- I know for a fact that the plant in Iowa is not a UAW plant.
- Oh and BTW, I am not the "Grim Reaper". That person is just flat out screwed up in the head and needs to stop posting on here.

It is Sidney with an i. And it would be one of the last to close because they have always made a profit. Even in 2008 they made an 11% profit and are only one of two plants to get a profit sharing check in 2009. It just goes to show how dumb people in here are. Business is about making money and the people in here who's plant doesn't make it will be the ones to close.

Sure hope your profit sharing check is alot better than the other plant that made a profit. Strasburgs check is a whole 138.00 before taxes. They used some excuse that 4 million was used for a recurring charge. Any news on your check/

Why would someone from NY be interested in IAC profit sharing checks? Do you work for Mr. Ross?

Don't we all work for Mr. Ross? If you looked at my other posts they show Frederick Md. same person. Do you know any other Jacked. I know several people who wish they were me, but I'm still the one and only. I am who I am and I am where I am. Why so curious? Nothing else to do? I know the feeling.
