Lear - PETC

Helloh Dudes,

What is the current news for LEAR Corporation Cebu at this moment of crisis, actually i was working in LEAR since 2000 at Plant Rizal as production operator then after two years i was applying as a Utility Operator then then after two years again i was promoted as a TEAM LEADER after1 year one of my big boss he asked to become a Supervisor but i refused it beacause i knew it will be more headache and more pressure with that position, but before i decide to quit this company i was one of the luckiest emloyee because of there trust they sent me to JAPAN as a QUALITY Inspector for 3 only but its a big help for me then i was resigned as a TEAM Leader in 2008 but not formal resigned but all ican say is thanks for the LEAR management for trusting me as one of the team, now i'm here in SAUDI ARABIA for i year working as a secretary in one of the SABIC, PETROKEMYA, PETROCHEMICAL Plant thanks God he is always here for me.

how is LEAR in Cebu operating right now? any news, anyone? are there any upcoming cutbacks on employees?

They have survived from chapter 11. They are doing great. In fact they are hiring back again and recalling the employees they have laid off.

You an ex-PETC or from one of the plants? I'm an ex-lear as well (plant Rizal) and is now working in Manila. Not sure how many ex-lear are in the capital city but it would be good to meet up and talk about the good old times. I heard they have "recovered" but still a little chaotic.

I have ex-lear friends who are in Manila. I'm still in Cebu enjoying my new work. My best friends told me they are doing great now in Lear plants.

how about PETC is it still operating ? Is Rose Labucay and elena Tura still with Lear ?

Yes, PETC is operating. They're hiring too.
Rose Labucay is the HR Manager.

same as usual or worse than before......
i don't know if the world is getting crisis or maybe there's a problem with it's management......but hopefully things will be back to normal.....lear is such a good company after all.lots of applicants are dreaming to work there and there are many families who depend on lear........so good luck lear!hoping for it's best and more projects to come...
