I know this board shouldn't be used for bashing, but I really don't have any other means of contacting them.

So...

I and others at my place of employment are grateful that we have Ford at our plant because of the sub par carpet that we have been receiving which was found to be the result of our supplier *cough you*. Which lead to a lot of headaches last night not with just our materials but with our brothers and sisters being forced for 12 hours and this weekend to make new carpeted floors for them.

The Sheboygan Airport probably welcomed the increase in traffic last night though as we have to ship them in a very fast manner.

Thanks guys! Well, more like thanks to your management for telling you guys to send us that cr@p.

If you remember a year ago. One of own QA told us to run the bad carpet. With bolding. All that I'm saying is don't blame someone so quick.

It should have never came in the door in the first place. Our friendly also realized it wasn't our process that was causing the problem, it was the carpet we were receiving.

And don't get me wrong, there should have been a better effort to correct the problem from the proper people at our end and at Fremont. A lot of us are pissed that the person at our end seemingly didn't do what they get paid to do, I could be wrong but that is the impression we have all gotten and until we hear otherwise she isn't any better.

Having their salary basically tell us that they aren't doing anything wrong and that it is our process when it is found out that we are getting short changed on the specifications of our carpet isn't acceptable either, not to mention the other lousy remarks that I had heard about it.

I realize the workers themselves at Fremont are working under the specs that the company tells them to, that is why I am being pretty specific about pointing my fingers at their salary people that have anything to do with that carpet.

I can't believe people on this board have resorted to pimping sister plants about quality issues. Did you ever care to think that maybe our customers may read these boards? I know you are an idiot, but please refrain from airing the company's dirty laundry. It hurts all of us.

I am sure you will find out the specific's on the CRAP carpet being sent to Sheboygan by your own people,Trust me!

They (IAC) should have left the Carlisle plant open,at least a decent quality carpet came out of that plant,you guys have been a headache with the Crap carpet from day one!
So like Stuck said..Thanks Fremont for making IAC look like Sh*t in the eyes of Ford Company.

Actually it's Fremont who gave us the forced emergency overtime because of the Sh*t carpet they make and now IAC is probably on Fords Sh*t list or Fremont is anyway!

Yes, it is hard for alot of people when you are forced to work overtime at the very last minute not given time to plan for child care ect.
Yes, it is unfortunate that we did get overtime when others are laid off but what is even worse is the sad situation that put us in this position,Crap Carpet from Fremont.

I was trying to be nice about it and pointing the direction at the piss poor salary at both ends on it and not at the people on the floor who don't make the calls on how the process is run much less the specifications of the finished product that you guys make.

You guys actually going to be molding the RT carpet floors by hand in a gantry or is it going to be more of an automated molding?

thank u for defining ur comments u catch more bees with honey than u do sh*t but anyways the salary team here did find that the carpet was being stretchd and we had been doing that for a long time not knowing but remeber this Fremont has always been blowmolding until 1 & half yrs. ago. we r still all learnin hourly & salary alike so next time come out with those questions first bfore coming on here & saying things that r upsettin we for one do not like customers like ford up our butts either but guess what this whole week mthere here in our plant doing studies.and yes the RT stuff were doing is both hand & automatd
