here in Iowa City they dropped the starting wage to 11.00 dollars an hour the summer of 2010 over 500 new hires walked out the door. they would make 3.30 an hour in 3 years. you can't have a stable work force with these low wages. I saw new hires waiting in the cafeteria today. They are going to work on the new belevedere line.

yep, i got laidoff from their in 2008, we lost are call back rights after 2 years, and they voted a new contract in, while we were laidoff, the union let them open up the contract and agreed to all the changes, and what I posted was from the online newspaper ad. no rasies under the new contract, ever ! cake maker wrote: are you sure there is no progression

our wage scale in fremont they start at 9.50 they will hit top rate wich is only 13.53 but it takes 42 months. it was 5 years but we got it lowered in the new contract

The lower rates is the way to push the union complete out of there.The union should stood their grounds on the wages that lower.Iac will get the union out so they can do what they want to the workers we got to push the union to stand stronger.They fired a president I'n Madisonville KY local 2386 and he was set up for job abandonment .He is still setting out of work

Brent copeland and ron keack, are the pres & chairman, here in sidney, and they are worthless, not worth the air they breath, sold the UAW out long ago, their in it for what they can get, and to heck with everone else.
